  1. So it's Bielsa linked to every club time now? Bad news is for him, we all know how to beat him now.
Bad luck for Klich , but thats football I'm afraid.
Romano circus time again. How about Rasmus at LB and Drameh at RB, he has played LB before I believe.
Scally and Wagner will be good buys.

  2. Oh the irony. Poor Frank would go even balder(not that is a bad look😁) with the optics of it all. BTW will never happen. Bournemouth look nailed on.

  3. I was wondering if Marcello takes the Bournemouth job, do you think he'll go for Bamford? After all, he got the best out of him, he might not take the job yet, we'll have to wait & see what happens. Thanks Ger. 👍😁

  4. All eyes on the Polish back four then see how well they perform, interesting klich being left out buddy🤔
Agree we most definitely need experience in the back four, a strong leader for one.
Lampard was another hanger on in the England shirt, so glad he's doing poorly as a manager sorry.
Marcelo Bielsa, I'm with you buddy, big fan of the guy👍🇺🇸

  5. Right here’s what we should do with Drameh seeing he’s not getting a look in… swap deal (& nominal cash) for Guerriero. Very doable.

Went sniffing for cbs that fall into the potential / might be willing to come bracket… Maxine Lacroix.. smell of vvd off of him. Be worth a shout. And seeing he is french… Terrier! That’s the best case scenario with 50/60m spending money.

  6. Scally will be on the bench for the US world cup. Will be interesting to see how many minutes he gets. He still has some developing to do, but he has a lot of potential. I thought Drameh looked good when he had the chance to start. I would like to see him over Ayling. We need more pace!

  7. As a US fan, I think Scally has a decent future, but not only do we need someone more seasoned, we need a left-footed player at left back. I'm pretty sure he's been playing on the right for Gladbach (where he should be), and that position is well-covered. I'd love to see Guerreiro come, but that seems like a long shot to me.

  8. Scally can play LB, but his natural fit is RB. He’s got a ton of potential though. Doubt he gets any minutes at the WC, Berhalter will use Dest or Yedlin. Scally is versatile though, if Antonee Robinson needed a rest or was injured , maybe Scally then slots in at LB for USA. I’d love to see Leeds get him, but if funds are limited, he’s a luxury we probably cannot afford right now. Yeah Ger, we need more experience back there, not another teenage prospect, no matter how promising he is.

  9. Good comments about Scally below. Here's a bit more. First, he was quite the prodigy growing up — Ger, as somebody who has coached. you would know that there are certain players, even at 14 or 15, you look at and go — "this kid is going to be a pro." They pass the eye test. That's Scally. Moreover, he has grown into his body — he is tall, wiry, with skill, a classic fullback body type. He is right footed, but can, and has played left. He is pretty much a first choice starter for Gladbach, so would this talented youngster leave a starter's position in mid-table Bundesliga team for Leeds, where he might start, but then again might not? For the USA, he was a pretty marginal player in Berhalter's eyes — to the dismay of many USMNT fans, including yours truly, who thought he should have played a bigger role in qualifying.

Scally got his first significant run out in the last set of friendlies, at times looked lost out there, especially when he played left, but I attribute that to Berhalter's rigid, overly complex 4-3-3 system which rumor has it is SO detailed in its requirements that your head would swim.(Aside: that means a player like Aaron Long, who everybody agrees is just not that good, is going to start for us at center back in Qatar because he understands the system). Scally is going to the WC strictly as a backup, to give us depth both on the right and left. On the left, Fulham's Antonee Robinson will start and play 90 every game if healthy, and who looked good against ManU this weekend. Sergino Dest will probably play right fullback, with former Newcastle player DeAndre Yedlin backing him up. Dest may play left if Robinson is out before Scally gets a shot. Consequently, Scally may spend the entire WC, even if we advance, being a spectator–or at best being a post 80 minute sub.

  10. How did we go from Swansea and Bournemouth wanting Drameh in August to being linked with Dortmund… he's played one game where we lost 5-2 since then. I've always felt Fabrizio is nothing more than a mouthpiece for players agents but if there are multiple sources there might be something in it. Maybe Dortmund would go for a Drameh for Guerreiro swap

  11. Thanks for tHE update Ger. have same thoughts as you regarding Bielsa. Love what he did for us but I’m a Leeds fan first and foremost . Can’t believe Drameh is behind Ayling to play RB. Need defenders in January rather than strikers. We can score goals but cannot defend. I think we need a LB and a right sided CB as I’m not a big fan of Koch.

  12. I don’t understand why we can’t try Kristensen on the left (as he’s played there plenty before) and try Drameh on the right, who also has good chemistry with Summerville btw…
