As Tottenham Hotspur edge close to signing Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth, London rivals Chelsea have swooped in and hijacked a deal for Wolves winger Pedro Neto as reported by Fabrizio Romano – Spurs now must sign another winger with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.
How do you feel about this transfer?
Tottenham Hotspur have not been quite as active in the transfer window this summer – only signing Archie Gray from Leeds United and Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC – but over the last few years under Ange Postecoglou Spurs have been building a top youth side.
With the help of Daniel Levy, Scott Munn, Johan Lange and Fabio Paratici Spurs have lowered the average age of the squad to 25.

Honestly relieved, I'd rather spend on a Chiesa + David for that amount of money. Or an Eze would be very welcome too.
I am glad they have got him and we are not signing him . He's a good player. But doesn't play enuff . I hope celscum pays loads for him and he only plays 2 games

No, he would 100% get injured in the first month of an Ange training regime. Waste of money. On the premise that he'll be injured a lot.

No Neto means no Eze. Why? Palace know we will be desperate now scrambling about. Don't believe for a second Lange has a plan. If we did Solanke would of been tied up weeks ago as no summer football for him. Palace can now comfortably demand the FULL amount. Levy won't pay the full amount. Eze stays at palace or goes to City this window

After the injury issues we had last year why would we spend $60mil on a player who is never healthy.

They didnโt โhijackโ our move, it hijack a move a fee would have needed to have been agreed, we never got that far, the simply met the selling clubs valuation, we didnโt. Simple as that.
