      Rory, sometimes you need to put things in a right proportion. It's very clear that Enzo is a bit childish , immature, but he plays for Chelsea for almost 18 months, before it was Benfica., where many of his teammates were from African background, and he never had a problem playing with them. Caicedo is his midfield partner. I have no idea why he decided to sing that song, but it shows he is still immature. He should pay some fine, and i believe club owners had very good talk to him behind closed doors even during his holidays, otherwise he wouldnt be on the pitch, wearing captain armband. Not everything is open for public. Pls bring Sophie back

      Wesley Fofana has come out and said Enzo is 'Not racist'. As Rory has said, it if was a lower tier player they could have been dropped and had their whole career ruined. Its a massive accusation to throw out, there could have been huge consequences.

      Dude, he is a kid (23) that made a mistake in a moment of celebration and apologized properly and in a timely manner. He is not a racist, he got carried away by the old culture and remnants of racism in popular football songs/chants in Argentina that have to be eradicated. He learned his lesson. You are the hypocrites than want to poke in a closed wound instead of acknowledging and applauding sincere apologies. From the comfort of your couches and computer keyboards repeat: "He who is free from sin, let him cast the first stone"

      You said it "singing a song about being african descent" so thats what you call racism ?? bet you never been discriminated from racism or you don´t know the term factual truth, besides that he was singing other football songs not particularly 1 song

      I wish Rory were as keen to discuss the participation of other football players on that bus in the racist chant. Why is it that only Chelsea has been held to account? What about Manchester city, Manchester United and Arsenal to name a few, who all had players on that bus. How come they have not come through and apologized? How come you are only attacking your own team? When they all had players on that bus. Quit your witch unless you are willing to apply the same standards to the whole Argentinian team. Messi, as a leader and captain should also apologize. Period!!!

      Nothing racist about stating that most french players come from immigration. There's clearly a culture clash here:

      In Western world, they try their best to integrate their migrants into their society and mosy of the push back comes from locals who treat them as foreigners, so their governments brand them as racists (most of the time wrongly imo).

      While in latin america (and most of Global South), using descendants of migrants from ex-colonies is viewed as post-colonial exploitation of foreign talents. So if anything, that song was criticism of French federation, not a racist chant against players of african descent.

      The spirit of the chant is basically: France stole african players because they cant win with their local talents, yet Argentina still won in spite of that. Its not racist at all, people need to chill out and think, because not everything that mentions race is racist -_-

      What a world where a you tube journalist famous for tearing down the club he supposedly supports can rant about how offended he is over an offense the player’s BLACK, FRENCH TEAMMATES forgave him for. Stereotypic yes, racist no. I’m African, saying I run fast isn’t racist, it’s a stereotype and I take that as a compliment. You are desperately seeking more attention fr on those who want this to be a bigger issue than it is, it’s how you get paid.

      It's a mocking song that recreates What a Lot of people ( including lots of black people) think.
      Go and ask Angola, Nigeria and Cameroon fans if they feel humillated or sad, lots of people doesnt even care.
      It's like creating a song telling that german players are polish.
      Don't be a pussy, there is a huge difference between being racist, and mocking someone because they don't look native.
      National teams should be native players, doesnt matter the race or religion, why the fuck you would like todos be represented by people that doesnt share your culture
