West Ham have been unable to find an agreement with Aston Villa for striker Jhon Duran and are now looking at other targets; Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug has emerged as a potential target; West Ham also have an interest in Villarreal forward Alexander Sorloth.
Fullkrug is open to the move and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.
Fullkrug has entered the final two years of his contract. He scored 15 goals in 43 appearances last season, with three coming in the Champions League as Dortmund reached the final.
The 31-year-old’s form led to a call-up for Germany’s Euro 2024 squad and he netted twice in five appearances during the tournament.

I like it if it means we spend big in midfield this summer to cover potential bans/sales of players in that area of the pitch in jan/summer '25. With the proviso that we also clear our the strikers next year and refresh. Antonio gone, Fullkrug gone and hopefully Ings gone way before that. Then we've got the scope to have Marshall in the running but with a slightly more senior goal scorer up top or someone that takes a team roll and allows others to get the ball in the onion bag – A Haller at Frankfurt is annoyingly the type of striker I'd like atm with Bowen and Kudus playing close to him. That's why I'd be okay with Fullkrug for a short term stop gap between real improvement up top.

I find it pretty frustrating seeing us linked to 28+ year olds like Sorloth and Fullkrug.
My shout would be Fofana from Burnley/Chelsea as a cheaper more exciting option.
First of all It's a huge rebuild season.
2. Getting rid of players like Ings, zouma, Aguerd is hell of a job.
3. Staying on the right side of Psr whatever u call is very difficult with increasing transfer fees and agent fees.
4. Partial blame has to go to Sullivan and Moyes who brought which we even didn't use…
5. They a list of players in each position and they will not overpay for their target.
6. I clearly feel this not a scattergun approach because u will clearly not pay 40 mil plus for Duran and 35 million for Summerville.
I think these two guys and other youtubers dont have even slightest idea how transfers work at football club…they should clearly mention this is only for entertainment purposes.
