Word of advice bro, don't believe the hype train the propaganda machine wools over your eyes, this man Guillermo Ochoa is not a good man, I would know since I witnessed his entire career, ever since I was a die hard "Aguilas del America" fanboy. The reason the hype train is been in Loco-motion on this dude for the past 15 to 20 yrs is do to the complete corruption that is infected the femexfut, but long story short, this dude has long since been a heavy investor (not sure if majority shareholder, nonetheless heavily invested) in several enterprises of whom the renowned owners also happen to be the big heads that occupy the seats over at the "FeMexFut" which is ultimately they the deciding factor of who gets to wear the jersey of the Mexican National Soccer Team, by default of conflict of interest (at best) Ochoa hasn't had to legitimately earn his position as starting GK in the Mexican National Soccer Team and has been a tremendous obstacle in the evolution of new, up and coming talent and a big contributor in the corruption that is rife in "La Liga Mexicana de Futbol" and evident by the failure that encompases the overall results of the past 20 years of El Tri, La Tri Color, La Seleccion Mexicana de Futbol.
Its sad that his only title in Europe was in a tournament where he didn't play any minute on it and that there is another mexican goalkeeper that actually played in the Champions League.
For sure Ochoa had his moments for Mexico but overall he’s not that great. Too many relegations, him not learning how to come out, and worst of all not letting go of the starting spot on the national team.
I think if he had played for a big club , he would've been incredible. The problem with the clubs he played for, the defenders weren't that great. And a lot of times, they would give up because they knew how great he was. So it was defenders not doing their job because they knew they had a great goalkeeper. But even the greatest goalkeepers can't stop every shot or save every mistake made by the defense.
