  1. Really southgate!! GGG’s. Mentor, that’s laughable. We don’t need England’s version of Berhalter. We need someone that will challenge the team and get them to punch above their weight. I would start with Klopp’s interest, then maybe Herve Renard

  2. No big time manager is going to manage USA let’s be real you need a real sporting director for the future generation will get USA stacked in 5-10 years because of youth then MAYBE a big manager would do it.

  3. I think the players just need somebody to yell at them in Spanish while frantically pointing at the players and the goal. Perhaps the players will then put the ball in the net to get coach off their back for a few.

  4. Usa isnt hosting the world cup. Theyre co hosting. Pompous american blows o$ Mexico and Canada.
Is there really a pompous belief that Zidane or Klopp would be so hard up they would coach here.

  5. Who the hell is this fool? Clearly a paid USSF shill! We need a coach who can be a politician for the public! Oh shut tf up!!!

  6. Klopp is coming… I don’t think it’s coincidence they have a more “ targeted “ search, Klopp makes a random American post, they suddenly understand they have to spend money and berhalter is fired all within one week. The official announcement will be coming in the next few weeks. Too much coincidence….

  7. Huh? Southgate? This commentator is clueless…

By the way, Berhalter NEVER achieved any decent results other than against a really bad mexco team.

  8. If you're recommending Southgate, you either don't know ball or haven't watched the USMNT and England. Southgate is literally the final evolution of GGG.

  9. I can understand why he mentioned Southgate. Crocker and Southgate have a good relationship, and regardless of how you feel about Southgate, he's taken an English team who's known for choking, to two Euro finals and a WC semi.

  10. U.S. Soccer faces more issues than just the mediocrity of Gregg Berhalter. As a fan for over 30 years, I believe that the USMNT is being influenced by Don Garber and the MLS. Additionally, the consecutive poor decisions by Matt Betty Crocker have only made things worse. The frustrating part is the lack of media and pundit criticism of Gregg for his poor tactics, playing players out of position, and inability to change the game with tactics or substitutions. It's disappointing that pundits have not called out Gregg until now. The media is part of the problem in U.S. Soccer, and it's disheartening. My faith in U.S. Soccer, MLS, Don Garber, and the media has been shaken.

If the US FAN base is part of the USSF's overall Soccer Plans, then you may succeed and you may fail.
But, if the US FAN base is NOT part of the USSF's Plans, you are then guaranteed to fail even if the USMNT wins the World Cup.

Eventually when you get to the Top you need to have your US FAN base already with you, to enjoy the fruits of success with you, and to build on that for the next generation.

Trying to promote and upgrade Soccer in the USA without FANs is like building a NYC High-Rise in Chihuahua.. where are the tenants which will pay the Mortgage?
Where are the FANS that you want to make Money with?

The USSF needs to get used to communicating with the US FAN base year round, but at sensitive moments the manner or the level will of course need to change.

You can face your Fans if you when a BIG Tournament.
But you can't face them if you fail.
    That's the Point

Face reality early and you will have a chance to change directions, if you wait you will just lose more time where you could have fixed what was wrong.

I don't think the USSF could have fixed what was wrong after the 5-1 loss to Columbia, there was not enough time. So you lost Copa America sometime before that Friendly as you didn't know really what the level was, the coach knew.

But now you have 2 years to World Cup 2026, you can fix something, probably enough things to save far more than you would lose if you didn't change the coach.

This happens because you forced yourself to learn quickly.
You have just enough time for W.C. 2026

  12. The necessity of speaking English is about having a good level of communication with the Players and the Media and also the US FANs, of course is critical.

I would get the team captain in this conversation during the hiring, but to a certain limit, and also the Media behind closed doors. Once you present your new Coach the Players and the Media must be onboard as far as the Question about the Language.

But soccer is not played in English or any other Language, it's played on the field.
As long as there is a great understanding between the staff and the players and the results are there, then what ever language or however weird the accent, the Coach should be acceptable.

It's about the Results, lock stock and barrel.
    Italy has 4 World Cups
    Germany 4 World Cups
    Brazil 5 World Cups
    France 2 World Cups
    Uruguay 2 World Cups
    Argentina 3 World Cups

None of the above nations have for 1st language English

England speaks English and they have 1 World Cup

Trust me, when you win the world cup, you will be too happy to speak Afrikaans or Japanese, that Coach will be your best friend without ever meeting him, in any language.

  13. The New Coach will need to be Very Ambitious, to the point of fearing no opponent.
His mentality and the way of looking at things in general, must represent the American mentality to a very large extent.

He must be from a nation that's a friend of America, must have excellent communications skill, and extremely realistic, and achieve excellent Results immediately. Of course you have to give the Coach some level of control of scheduling matches and choosing venues based on what's best for the USMNT (kinda like Bruce Arena)

Through Soccer you have to represent the Nation.
Bora Milonitovich was a good coach, though he didn't speak good English.
You can also bring a good Coach from England..!

As long as there are good results from the get go, that would be considered a good choice.
Success comes with many many many good results, never without them.

  14. BREAKING: USA signs Klopp, Pep, Touchel and Mourinho management wonderteam…still crash out of WC26 in the group stage😂😂😂
    Love this nonsense debate😂😂😂

  15. Guys like Klopp and Zizou are used to winning major honours with big successful teams. They’re not going to take the US job unless they’re offered crazy sums, but that would also mean having to pay the womens coach exactly the same so don’t think that will happen.

  16. Having pictures of Klopp and Zidane on this video implying there is the tiniest chance on earth that they may become USMT coach is gross misrepresentation. It ain't happening in a million years.

  17. These lot really thought JURGEN KLOPP would take THAT job 😭😭😭😭 I’m hearing Luton think they can get Pep Guardiola too 🤣🤣🤣🤣
