  1. Loan with the obligation to buy and a sell-on clause. 20+ million Euros. Nothing wrong with the deal.

There are still in-comings and plenty of time left in the transfer window. This is a non-issue.

  2. Hojberg a decent player, but if he doesn't really fit the system in the long term then no point postponing the inevitable and wasting everyone's time and hindering their careers while stunting progress of the team.

  3. Ambrose hasn't got a clue what he's talking about. What off the line did holjberg make?? When was that??
And it's a obligation to buy not a option. Read before you speak

  4. He’s an average to decent premier league footballer who was a good servant for the club. Ambrose’s analysis is a bit weird. He’s not marmite to spurs fans at all, we all know he’s done well but limited… he can’t play Ange’s football… this is such a perfect deal it makes me wonder what these two know about football to be talking like this.

  5. Obligation to buy.. he wouldn’t sign a new contract because he wants more game time. We have sold him for roughly what we paid for him, so it’s a fair deal. I’ll miss him, he’s a decent player.

  6. No question about his application and efforts for the club, but he just doesn’t fit Ange’s system of football…. I wish him well, great servant of the club

  7. Hojberg is a good player but he can’t play our playing style at all and has wanted to leave for 2 years and has shown that.

Haven’t troubled yourself to learn about the details of the loan. It’s to balance Marseille’s books. Not ours. There is an obligation to buy. They are buying him but loaning for the first year.

  8. I'm a spurs fan I've always liked Hojbjerg but he doesn't want to be there and he suits a slower style of play, doesn't suit Spurs and Anges style. £17mill for 28 year old in last year of contract is great

  9. What a moron of a pundit. It's a loan with obligation to buy. A player who was awful every start last season & who doesn't fit the way Ange plays. Also if bonuses are reached we get more for him than we bought him for.

  10. No mention of Bergvail lol hojberg 1 year left and he doesn’t suit the way we want to play….i heard it’s an obligation to buy so it’s a done deal…it’s not a massive loss and we need to players that Ange wants what’s the point of him sitting on the bench unhappy. IN ANGE WE TRUST🙌🏾

  11. Reports have been saying that he wants to leave since before Ange joined the club, and he doesn't suit Ange's style of play. He was never going to get past Bissouma or Sarr into the first team regularly, and Gray is clearly going to get game time this season. Hojbjerg is just taking up room in the squad, and we always run close to the non-homegrown player limits, so selling him makes sense. Same with Lo Celso now that Bergvall is in.

  12. I don't know what we are playing at, we have a worse squad than Villa and seem to be pinning our hopes on a couple of kids (Bergvall and Archie Gray) I don't have any hope for the coming season depressing being a Spurs fan and knowing that nothing changes until Levy/ENIC leave and that ain't happening.

  13. We need better midfielders and he makes alot of mistakes and doesnt have pace. Have tou been paying attention to what ange needs and wants? Obviously not…
