Tbh never understood the hype around foden
This crop of English players are soo damn good (I’m South African). Remember when Spain had an overload of world class midfielders? (Iniesta, Xabi, Xavi, Silva, Fabregas, Busquets) yet they never saw it as a problem, they made it work.
Not saying this English side is on par with spain 2008-2012 but they do have an overload of talent. Just make it work

Its become evident that Palmer is actually so clear of Foden. I do rate Foden though but Palmer is a level above.
You could say this about 8 or 9 other players in the starting lineup. Most just don't turn up internationally. It's been the same in Sven's era, same in most other eras.
Foden is better. Palmer is good, but has only performed for one season. Foden is proven. Was not in his best form in the euroes but look at the whole season over more than one year when comparing.
