  1. if De Gea was on the side, i would have conceded that one spanish player would make the english side or bench.

as it is, every england player is better than every spanish player, english bench included

regardless of how the teams have played this month under their abnormal managers and competition

  2. Is Gareth is still playing Kane? If so, our best bet is to hope for a draw then win on penalties; as Spain is clearly a cohesively stronger team.

  3. You expect mainoo to start? If their best player of the euros doesnt start then southgate should not be allowed near a football team again.

  4. I think Trippier should start coz we all know Lamine Yamal will cut inside. So having a right footed LB might prevent it. But Shaw must come in 2nd half to punish Spain with his cross for a goal

  5. Even though it’s a risk because of the minutes he’s played I’d rather play Shaw, so we have more strength going forward.
Think best option is probably to give Trippier first half and Shaw second half.

  6. Southgate’s luck will run out and England will lose to Spain on Sunday. As far as some "pundits" are concerned, England can lose 0-5 to Spain and these media people or ex-players will still praise Southgate as the best manager England has ever had simply because he took England to 2 consecutive Euro Finals. Southgate is already a god and can do no wrong in these people's (the FA included) eyes. Remaining trophy-less is not going to diminish his deity status. These pundits and ex-players are going to call for knighthood for him regardless of Sunday's performance and result.
On the other hand, for supporters who want nothing less than an England trophy, keeping Southgate beyond this Euro will be an absolute disaster.

  7. Is anybody going to notice how overweight Shaw is again he looks so big compared to the other players. He looks like they just invited some random dad bod in to join in training. Not fat shaming as I’m a little chubby myself but he gets paid over 200k a week to be a footballer and I don’t. No wonder he can’t get over is injuries his knockers are bigger than my Auntie Pauline’s.

  8. If England win the Euros Kane deserves the Ballon Dor top goal score in Bundesliga, top in Champions League, and potentially top in Euros. The Ballon Dor is an individual award not a team one.

  9. You absolutely have to bring on Watkins and Palmer and also Mainoo for 45 minutes. Watkins will be on a high, which makes a big difference psychologically. You could also do a 45/45 with Shaw and Trippier.

Make use of those subs… We have a star studded team.

  10. How many more times do I have to say it? BELLINGHAM INJURED HIS SHOULDER THIS PAST SEASON BUT IS WAITING UNTIL AFTER THE TOURNAMENT TO HAVE SURGERY ON IT.
THATS WHY HE WASN'T THE SAME AFTER THE NEW YEAR
