  1. I don't really thinks southern academies having good talent is just done to the academies. they have a much larger pool of talent to pick players from.
    the top 10% of players down south are more than the top 10 % in the north meaning the north has to actually produce talent as well as help it grow.
    I think about how many players down south don't get an opportunity because of how much more competitive it is to get into academies in the first place. when I was younger I got offered the chance to join Everton but was already moving down to London in the summer and couldn't accept . After that I never got a chance like that again because I wasn't flashy like other kids, i enjoyed defending and doing the dirty work and that doesn't get you noticed.

    AT the end of the day IMO southern Academies are talent conveyor belts that pick up the nearly complete players whereas northern academies are more nurturing and actually produce the top players themselves .
