For a player to say he doesn't want to play for his country , you just know something went wrong their . Southgate should continue playing his favourite players like maguire and we will be there and he won't win anything
For the past two years we been telling you all he should have been selected over maguire. But now when he is at his peak the whole country needs him? Please stop the slander because he is a gunner

I mean the good kept selecting Kalvin Philips with no game time at his club for England, Rico Lewis saw more game time is his position than him and guess what, he played better

The blame here lies completely with Southgate. Ben white is too good to not be playing, he’s easily Englands second best option at CB and he’s has to sit and watch Maguire get more minutes.

But it's not that he doesn't love playing for England, in fact, I'd argue he loves it more than playing for Arsenal because he legit cried when he was called up for England when he was at Brighton (source: Sky Sports Retro Master Trollers). So, I think there has been a massive fallout midst the staff and the lad.

Everyone's forming conclusions from one side of the story as usual. Ben White, a man who has done (and continues to do) everything it takes to become a pro footballer at the highest level doesn't like football? Weird take. Ben White, who was very happy to be selected for the world cup doesn't want to play for England and hates his country? Weird take.
Southgate threw a young man in his twenties under the bus by letting the British media create the worst possible narratives around him without any real hope of defending himself after the damage was done. The story doesn't add up without more information that we simply don't have. Taking Southgate at his word is foolish when you already know that he is a unbiased actor in this whole situation. He has players that he cares about, and others that he doesn't. White is clearly not a player that Southgate cares to go to bat for, so I'm unlikely to take him at his word about the situation around the player.
