Thereās a veiled attempt to attack some players in this England setup far more than they deserve. Itās rooted and nearly systemic.
I like how you said all the people who accused Saka suddenly disappeared after the Switzerland game. Sterling suffered the same thing throughout! Was never appreciated to the degree that matches his achievements. Always made to feel like it was never enough! But what heās done is unthinkable! Some of these pundits former players can only dream of the career Sterling has had for club and country.

The insistence by so many people to insert a racial narrative to any criticism of bukayo saka is sickening, we have such divisive punditry in this country that's honestly disgusting, what about the criticism of harry kane? Kane has been getting pelters lately, in fact everytime he gone a game without scoring for england in the last decade he gets slaughtered, but because he less melenated it gets completely ignored in relation to say saka, I'm not agreeing at all with criticism of saka as he's top class but harry kane is england record goal scorer ever and record scorer in competitive games, won a golden boot at a world cup scored 40 goals this season been below par admittedly this euro's, but if he scores tomorrow he's joint top scorer in the whole tournament, scores two and he leading the golden boot race, despite playing below par, as all of the squad are, yet he's getting far more abuse than anyone in the squad, and in so many ways it's correct because nobody should be immune from critique, regardless of skin colour, that shouldn't even come into it, but yet it does because people cannot help but highlight it because in their hearts they don't want england to win anything and want to divide the team, I hope these boys ignore all these idiots online and in the media, because the vast majority of us love you and want you to win, I'm a tottenham fan through and through but when saka and rice puts that england shirt on I love them like 1 of our own, sick of this nonsensical race baiting
For the last 3 tournaments he has been the best player for England going forward.
Palmer needs to start ahead of Foden or Bellingham. If anyone should start ahead of Saka on the wing, it would be a winger – Jarod Bowen. Palmer isn't a winger, he is a No.10. Bowen isn't as good a player as Saka, but his style of play would serve Harry Kane with more chances. And certainly, Gordon should have more time on the left. Southgate have not awoken to the fact yet that this tournament is for your younger unknown players. Look at Spain and Turkey. Even Mainoo is bossing it. Play Gordon and Palmer. Lastly, Ezri Konsa bosses it more than Guehi did.

Sometimes I think people donāt really watch football, Cole Palmer CANNOT play on the left, heās an inverted winger or 10, occupies same areas as Phil. Love Palmer, and heāll obvs do a job from the right, but that doesnāt just translate to LW, heās left footed and not a traditional winger so heās only effective playing inverted, dribbling inside towards goal.
