I don’t think we’ve offered both defenders in the same deal. Think they are 2 separate deals that have both been refused
I dont think it was a case of swapping BOTH. I think we offered Aguerd + cash & when it was knocked back we went back with Zouma + cash (or vice versa).
Zouma would have been the logical swap as both he & Todibo as right sided(footed) whereas Aguerd is left sided.
I think both of them for todibo would be genuinely worth it zouma has 1 knee and is not as good as we think he is and aguerd seems to hate being at west ham both players would happily run there contract down to get a move no ones gonna buy either of them for over 15m
Central defenders seem really pricey these days eg. Branthwaite and Murillo £70 mill each, although both 22, it’s seems to be the way of things. Also isn’t Nice owned by Ratcliffe, so why wouldn’t they buy Todibo coz they seem to want Branthwaite ?????

I dunno if nice wanna play hardball? All french clubs are in the same boat this year, no tv deal. Current one on offer is €700 million, thats absolute peanuts. I guess it means they want to squeeze every cent out of player sales, but they're not in a position to sniff at 2 defenders for the price of one, wages for zouma would have to reflect the fact he's barely got two legs and Aguerd just wants out, again, not the best bargaining position?! I know we dont like waiting for transfers because of dithering Dave, well he aint here, im okay with the french clubs sweating….
west ham will need to pay a club to take Zouma the handicap
