Nottingham Forest reportedly sold Odysseas Vlachodimos to Newcastle United for a hefty fee which changes how we should view the £35m move for Elliot Anderson. They have also sold Brandon Aguilera to Rio Ave in a surprise move, while there is renewed interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi as he is valued at £40m. #nffc

Matt Davies is joined by Emily Anderson and Greg Mitchell to discuss all that and reported interest in Lyon defender Jake O’Brien.

  1. Anderson needs a settled position and game time, he’s talented and strong, when he was on loan at Bristol he got tagged as the Geordie Maradona by joey Barton. Good luck to him and forest. Hwtl

  2. It’s a shame Anderson was injured last season because he would have gotten a lot of game time with our injury Crisis. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see him play enough at Ncastle but he’s definitely a premier league player, with potential…. He just needs games.

  3. I don't think we're going to lose any more 'big players'. The financial situation has been rectified so so well! Another striker and centreback needed, but the rest of the squad looks solid! Really looking forward to next season! COYR!!!

  4. Sky Sports suggested the fee for Vlachodimas was much lower than your estimate, but who really knows? As long as both clubs covered their PSR needs, I imagine everyone's happy. Newcastle fans adore Anderson and he always gives his all. I hope he thrives with you. Good luck this season.
