What’s happened to gakpo is he’s playing in his natural position not shoved in at false 9 lol
he’s always had the talent, we’ve seen a lot of glimpses of it, the issue has been confidence and consistency, if he has a bad game he has no confidence for the next 2/3 games and that’s not good enough, when’s he’s confident he’s great

Gakpo has really surprised me this tournament. At Liverpool he just looks so clunky and uncoordinated but he’s been firing for Netherlands so far. Before any Liverpool fans reply I’m not having a dig sometimes it’s just the player and the team aren’t a match and that’s been the case with Klopp and Gakpo. Very interested to see Gakpo next season and very interested to see Nunez who is quality imo
