      Where does the lack of respect for the opponent originate from? Who gets the team focused? Berhalter! Also, does this guy EVER throw himself into the circle of blame?

      This just shows hw is not a good coach. Throwing his players under the bus. The playing tactics come from u. No in-game management. He should have never been brought back. If USA wants to go anywhere in football get a foreign coach

      The "guys just didn't do their job" comment is so telling.

      This man has no ability for introspection of personal accountability. Sure, many players had bad moments. But, much of that was players asked to do jobs that don't accentuate their strengths. Rather, they were asked to do things they are weak at in many cases.

      He makes a cursory remark about the coaching staff and it being their job to gameplan and prepare the players, but he doesn't even hint that the there was anything fundamentally wrong with the gameplan. He almost seems to think they just didn't execute it well enough, instead of recognizing that it was doomed from the start.

      1. Football (No Soccer) is simply not for you, now I understand why they changed the name and called that type of Rugby with a helmet football 🏈

      2. Stop spending money on immigrants who only want a Green Card or children of people who were good players, the old saying "Like father, like son" does NOT apply in football or at least not with George Weah's son

      3. It is curious that the US has almost 350 million inhabitants and they cannot find 11 white men who know how to play soccer well

      4. Baseball ⚾ offers less effort, 😴😪💤and you are very good at it (it would be embarrassing if you weren't good at a sport that you invented yourselves)

      At least he didn’t say we dominated with 52% possession 😂. Colombians were chanting “Colombia is your daddy USA” Gregg 😂 they were not cheering you on

      USMNT will NOT win anything with GGG and his brother running US Soccer.
      Disgraceful and corrupt is only the beginning of the adjectives you can use for that whole system! A wholesale cleaning of all that mess is needed, everyone needs to go.
      But no, Gregg will not be fired because everyone that is running that show are married to him until at least WC26.

      As many of you, Never liked Gregg as a coach.

      But I agree with him for the first time in my life. Three players were at fault in every single goal… it was a pathetic display

      USA needs a better coach , why does the UMNT keep supporting this guy? .. I want to see Brazil crush his system so they can fire him… The players looked they gave up in that game Greg has lost the team , the players will not question him because Greg will punish them.

      All this talk of firing GGG… Get past it. He's going nowhere. The USSF are committed to him through 2026. He was rubber stamped after making rd. 2 of 2022. They were willing to pretend to search but never wanted to commit the money or resources. Rather lazy. So Sure great to win the Nations League, will give that. But have to remember the game before the final.

      End of day the US are a fair side, not truly elite. But a great manager could make this generation punch above it's weight. GGG isn't that guy and you're stuck.

      Silver lining… Colombia are a very good team. Super efficient, tough, skilled and undefeated in CONMEBOL qualifying. Wake up call… sure. So we'll see how Brazil and Copa America go but of course I think expectations should be tempered.

      Coach is garbage. This is a great Pool of players. But the mentality isn’t there, tactics aren’t there. This shouldn’t a stepping stone, this is a cup we should be looking with respect and desire to win. We shouldn’t think conmebol teams play friendlies. They come for blood. And to think that Colombia put his A team thinking they facing “the best in concacaf” says a lot how they see the game and how they study their rival. USA doesn’t need a local high school coach. With this Pool we need a forieing coach. a South American coach, a Brazilian or Argentinian for that matter. They would put that mentality and tactics that this Pool can archive. We don’t have bad players. Just bad coaching

      I know the coach's job is so important. Though one must admit that the US lacks super class players. The MLS isn't a competitive league and the US isn't generating world class players. A world class coach won't do miracles with players who lack talent. Instead of bitterly criticizing Berhalter, people should think that US soccer structures should be improved from within such as town leagues, scouting, school tournaments, county and state tournaments, play year round tournaments, not 8-10 games in a calendar year.

      Once I saw the uniforms and politics, I was cheering for Colombia.

      The fact this man is still the headcoach/Manager is an embarrassment to the game, to the federation, and most importantly the fans. They don't care about us (fanbase). US Soccer is what's keeping the beautiful game down and not progressing. This is very sad, and US soccer will die with their own sword with this man. Who has no business coaching this team at all.

      GB you are responsible for setting the tone. You need to respect the opponent and tell your team how to manage the game. You have too many wake up calls.
