Soccer isn’t expensive. There’s a reason all the ghetto countries and broke blokes play it
delusional to think "soccer is an expensive sport". The reason why FOOTBALL is so many cultures across the world even in the poorest regions like in Africa is because next to nothing is needed to play the sport, just some open space, a goal and a ball. I remember in school we would just make a makeshift goal with some jackets and use a bottle as the ball and play for hours

I still don't know why the f it's called soccer in us, it's football because you use foot (apart from the keeper) while in "American football" you use hands 95% of the time and they still call it football, mental gymnastics out of this world
Football/soccer in the US is too expensive to partake in? Interesting. Pretty much everywhere else it is the people's game because it can literally be played almost everywhere. Any ball will do, and expensive shoes are the exception rather than the rule.
