We as fans need to realise the club hasn't got enough ambition for quality players to stay, Its like a constant merry-go-round at Spurs, 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards. We need to all face it, we need a fresh new start with a new board, with fresh ideas & that shows the fans plus players AMIBITON on the football field cause thats the main reason for decades why players leave & fans are fed up most of the time. Only one time the players wanted to stay & play & that was the Poch team cause at least that team was competing but by the end most of the players saw the club show no ambition when the team really needed some quality to help them kick on to the next level.
We dont need the money, so RM cant force the sale through even if they could afford to Romero! Personally, the way he kissed the badge after scoring, i dont think its a fore gone conclussion hell want to leave just yet.
Romero has been our most improved player this past season IMO. At the start his discipline was questionable but he has really worked on that aspect of his game. If Real do want him and he wants to go then they will have to pay £100 mil +. Great to have you back Matty. COYS

Matt, mate. As you have said, Romero is under contract and you can imagine Ange's reaction if Spurs wanted to sell him under his rebuild. Plus the lashback against Levy if the Club decided to sell. I do not believe this a deal that will happen and would be astonished if it did. Besides that, Real Madrid have a huge debt and Romero would be a very expensive deal in the 80m plus bracket. Real Madrid will look for a cheaper option to replace a player in the style of Sergio Ramos. I sleep easy with a stories like this. COYS.
When madrid come calling it turns most players heads. At least we have him on long contract. World class and a vital cog in anges system. He seems happy here but who knows,we need to show ambition in transfer market to show cuti we can challenge for honours.

We can't offer Romero trophies or the prestige of Real Madrid. He will want this but I don't know how quickly it could happen.
