Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he sees similarities between striker Marcus Rashford and France superstar Kylian Mbappe. Marcus Rashford was England’s top scorer at the World Cup in a campaign that ended with defeat against Mbappe’s France. Erik Ten Hag said: “From the first moment I recognized the huge potential. When Marcus’ positioning is on the back of the defending line, there is almost no better player in the world. There is [only] Mbappe at this moment.”

Just a ridiculous comment. He's scored 4 goals this season in the league. He's been better than the last 3 seasons because ETH has told him to stop dribbling and get in behind but he will never be a starter in a team than competes for top trophies.
Last season he couldn't compare with Emile Heskey never mind Killian Mbappe.
Going from the Premier League to League Un can hardly be described as a 'challenge' can it? PSG are just the Celtic of France with oil money. Trophies are pretty much guaranteed. And pretty much meaningless.

If rashford goes it’s not a problem, I’d like to keep him but he’s not world class and not impossible to replace. He’s not the player whos going to make the difference in taking us to the next level.
Marcus Rashford has been shit for 2 seasons,he has been 'decent'this season,nothing special. Not a great loss if he goes,he will never be an amazing player,too inconsistent and not a prolific goalscorer.

I'll compare Rashford and Mbappe. Mbappe has more speed, more skill, better attitude and better workrate also does not let off field activities lead to piss poor performances. Not much to compare
Garnacho is our best option on the left. Rashford should go he obviously has a high opinion of himself and a poor attitude, loyalty means nothing to him see ya Marcus.

I think some people need to realize is that Marcus was out of form and straight up abused since the World Cup. Once he regained form then everyone is slamming him for maybe wanting to go somewhere where they’re challenging for things and are way more ambitious. I love Rashford, I never wanted him to leave United but wouldn’t resent him if he did but man people flip flop so quick
The players need to feel wanted and loved by people at the club and the fans Tony. You can’t take it for granted and say you already know this is the best club in the world. Even Franch fans voted him as the most dangerous man in the England squad, and here we are as United fans treating like he’s some average player.

It would not surprise me if Rashford is looking for an extra 5 million a year to sign the contract . Us triggering the one year extension and letting him leave on a free is not a good idea if he does not sign get him sold and and replace him .
