Scotland fans in Munich give their verdict on 5-1 thumping from Germany in Euro 2024 shocker
so what do you think we wrong last night we never turned up we never showed up we never started it was it was one of those times where we were all up for it but it didn’t seem to come freshing at all you know and I think the biggest thing you can understand was why would you take off a Defender and put another Defender own when we’re losing the game I mean really do you think Steve CLK got the tactics all wrong completely completely yeah I mean even I mean he took got McGregor I mean one of the best players he’ve got in the pitch what’s that then they put Shanklin on what’s that about you know we weren’t aggressive enough I think we kind of bowed down to the occasion at one stage I say to you can we get a rain B yeah we hav seen the ball in about half an hour we I mean it was just ridiculous it was very disappointing very disappointing but I think I think we’ll bounce back on I think that it’s a big learning curve you know and still quite a young team and but they should know how to conduct them you know in big occations like this we got you know Robert leading the way we should be better than that just went hard we didn’t get close enough to them let him play too much of the ball didn’t show enough passion just disappointing all right through team selection I think Gore should have played for the start might have helped us a bit obviously getting a sanded off didn’t not help but he’s up for Rush tackles all the time he has done his whole career so I think it was a an evitable it would have happened eventually so he would to be on this H and the the rest to the games I think what else struggling up FR dkes getting injured didn’t help us at the start definitely losing him H should Shanklin have started I don’t know if he would have made a difference getting a ball forward was a problem whenever they scored early on where I feel the keeper should have saved that maybe but we had to hold them out maybe a half time just to have a chance okay uh going forward for the rest of the games we really need to win the next in yeah we really need to win the next game at least got a draw it but here we’ve done well to get here we’re no world beaters Germany’s a good team K we’ve just uh accepted defeat and move on hopefully we can can improve and get extra get a goal scorer that’s really what we need I thought we should have early early doors we should have got out them early there about a chance 30 seconds in where we could they could have scored and it just set the tone for it and Scotland just from there just looks absolutely you know like Dearing headlight situation don’t know if they they saw the videos of USS pouring in and it it just it scared them that’s what I felt was happening I just thought they were they just look like you know they didn’t know what they were you know didn’t know what they were doing um yeah I think they didn’t it didn’t let us down as such I think the boy if you you know that if the Scotland team see this keep going guys you know we we’re still here there’s still thousands of us out here and you know we’re behind you all the way but you know I think they just should have calmed down for about half half an hour but it just it just got away from us I think when that when that penalty happens could have be like 60 what changes do you think CL needs to make to be more aggressive he needs to keep people I mean he needs to keep people up front he’s generally got to go in the offensive you know we can’t we can’t defend in this tournament that’s just that’s just a waste of time we’re in this tournament to do something you know so you’ve got to you’ve got to actually be on the offensive did you guys watch the game hey we were at the game we had tickets yeah we got tickets we were at the game was unbelievable yeah Scotland fans are great when you go away um never seen any travel man at all Scotland fans I really enjoy it gracious in defeat we accept it we’re quite used to it now so we accept it read your tournament we’ve got here make a best of it and hopefully it wouldn’t be so long to get to the next one and you guys next gam yeah we’re nextone today and then after that yeah I mean we still got to do what we do and we need four points from next two games a draw and a win I’ll do it gold defense a bit of H last night so we definitely need three points and we’ll do it we need four
The travelling Tartan Army woke up with more than just a hangover in Munich this morning following Scotland’s 5-1 thumping at the hands of Germany.
Steve Clarke’s side had a shocker in the Allianz Arena against the hosts but it’s still all to play for with two more group games against Switzerland and Hungary still to play.

I think that it will be very interesting to see the Germans against serious opposition later on,but how they played against us was quite exceptional.Albeit,Clark seems to be very short of team picking,he should have had a better starting 11 better than that lot,why ?because he is not competent enough to try the newer boys.Robertson,Tierney,Hanley and Ralston and McGregor all of whom shit it and failed badly.
