Wake up and stop scapegoating Southgate. So winey. Get real with the England squad there's countries with better teams than them, Southgates done a great job with what he's got and England have come in leaps since the McClaren/Capello/Hodgson days. People forget Steve Holland has a huge part to play as well and what coach has his experience, he's worked with Mourinho, Hiddink, Benitez, Conte and Ancelotti. Who's going to replace that. Also England got robbed by that crap ref had he done a proper job England would've got past France (who actually still have a better squad than England)
Taking off Saka was a fireable offense.
Tbf he did make the change,just the wrong one. He brought Sterling on and it should of been Rashford ,Sterling hadn't trained ,had just got of a flight from being burgled, Rashford just scored a brace in last game. Also I think Forden has to play more central, he's another silva or bernardo silva

England FA are one of the best funded, PL is one of the best, players are coached by best in the world at club level, huge talent pool but we constantly under achieve or have potential for the future. It’s all BS. We struggle against all the top 7 European sides. We don’t go in and dominate and more importantly win consistently. Our weak link has always been the Manager at tournament football not qualification. We need to hire the best Manager out there with proven winning track record, pay them a huge win bonus but only sign them up on short contracts so they can return to club football after a couple years with England. This would encourage an elite Manager to try international coaching mid career, earn a fortune, enhance their reputation and give England access to the Klopps, the Peps or Ancelotti’s.
If Southgate was a footballing manager and a man of his word England would do a lot better. Southgate said when he became manager he would have no problem dropping out of form players, WTF? He has trouble picking players in form let alone subbing players out of form. But the biggest problem with Southgate is not about the football it is his blatant political bias and hypocrisy. He makes the England players take the knee but denies it isn't BLM, he is an idiot. And then he has no problem with Qatar, slaves dying, anti Gay and the mistreatment of women, that doesn't matter apparently. If Southgate had an ounce of integrity he would of chose not to have gone to Qatar.
Before I get jumped on with knobheads saying 'he is just the manager' I would say exactly. He should be JUST the England manager and not a political mouth piece. Taking the knee has sweet FA to do with the England team. He should be just concentrating on the football but no. The twat should go and Simon was spot on. Give us a manager that can inspire the team and the fans plus the Nation not excuses like Southgate. Some are saying Tuchel, he knows how to win a cup competition and is a decent bloke.
