I'm not with any team but that's was brilliant and also Argentina deserves the win. Hate Messi all you want. I'm myself a Ronaldo's fan too but I have to accept the truth. Argentina played the better football. Netherlands rely heavily on the size advantage of their players. The Argentina's goalkeeper was outstanding in penalty. What else do you want? About the ref was unfair, jesus christ, Netherlands were angels? Those cards didn't make Netherlands lose.
As an argentine, I'm amazed of the amount of hate we get after this match. I'm not happy with the attitude of the team during the game and after, but all of you have to keep in mind that the Nederlands were heating up things days before the match. Also, the "oranges" didn't played a good game. They offered this masterpiece, but not much else. Watch the additional time and clearly Argentina was still pushing until the end while the Nederlands were waiting to reach penalties. Talking about the referee, he didn't was on either side. He just wanted to steal the show, and that was a known fact before the game. I feel a little sad for Van Gaal, he is a very good trainer and a very respectful man, he deserves a World Cup. What the TV did't show was that inmediately after the last penalty he went to congratulate Scaloni.
You put a SPANISH referee in a duel between a SPANISH speaking country vs The Netherlands and every slight foul was whistled for. And where was the VAR when MESSI very clearly used his hand to move the ball. That was a deliberate hands ball, for which 'at least' he should have gotten a yellow card or even a red card. And also that penalty given to Argentina was highly dubious. Also another weird thing, from a Dutch standpoint of view; how is it possible, that so many people from Argentina (which is a poor country) could travel there by the tens of thousands, while normally The Netherlands usually also fills up half the stadium with 'orange', which we barely saw in this stadium? The referee was definitely biassed towards Argentina. For this match we just needed a Japanese or Canadian referee, a neutral one.Penalties are always killing for The Netherlands, we have 'syndrome' with that. Good goalkeeping from the Argentinians goalkeeper, but to my opinion Noppert was to passive at the first shot.
Great goal. Also lost my respect for Argentina and Messi in particular. The disrespect pffft and all the crying towards the (bad) ref. I hope for Karma. Argentina lost a lot of fans.

This was brilliant. Best moment in a rather boring tournament. Also, fugggg Messi.
Kippenvel
Penalty which that messy weirdo scored was invented by the ref. The Dutch should have won.
This goal has already become legendary
Geniaal bedacht !!!
It was a good goal
Niemand begrijpt de reden waarom ze stopten toen het 2-2 stond, als ze doorgegaan waren hadden ze dik gewonnen.
Golazo

It's like a goal you make when you are 6 years old and just playing football.
Argentina how do you blow 2-0…
Interesting that Messi did not know what was going to happen, and then directly pointed at the referee when the goal was scored.
Robbed
Good move. But they're out.
Ref has to live with this c*nt of a match on his résumé. And Messi with stacks of volleyball photoshops!
very clever but simple ploy
It seems that not a one Dutch top newspaper placed Weghorst on its main page next day.
