Alves, Xavi back to us in one month.. motivation, team spirit, competition, experience, winning mentality is back to the team.. now, we can relax and expect good games.. Barca is now edging towards being competitive again.. I see the trainings and see the spirit is gradually being awakened again.. adding Alves to the mix will cement it all.. What a time to be alive!
Alves will only be able to play in January, yes.. but imagine the dressing room talks before the game and after the first half.. how games will be analyzed and rearranged between him and Xavi.. how they will both talk and motivate the team.. point out errors and fix them.. relate with the old players and bring back the good vibes.. now young players around the world wants to be associated with us again.. One of the many blunders of the previous regime was kicking this beautiful man out of the club. How many fullbacks have tried to fill his shoes just to flop? How much money wasted? Happy to have him back even if he's mainly there as a mentor and figurehead. He's a winner and will inspire those around him. Well done Xavi!

No doubt alves is the great RB, after he left, Barca was unable to get any good replacement in that position, mascherano left unable to replace, umtiti falling to shape, Barca defense line become weak weaker and weakest, fans were demanding for strong defenders but the board neglected. Then time came for xavi to retire followed by inesta, the Barca board again neglected to bring good midfielders. From this point Barca become completely devastated, no team can play in 4-3-3 formation without a good midfielders which is also Barca’s philosophy. Later Neymar left Messi carried all the burden, Barca become horrible, not a single trophy since then. Players injury no recovery in time, signing unsuitable players, laying down players to play from wrong position, so many idiotic things happened from the year 2014 till today. The club like Barca cannot do this kind of stupidity repeatedly year by year, they did that, the Barca board did on purpose.
Let’s come to the point, Dani alves’s signing, as a Barca fan getting Dani alves back, I’m not happy and excited not even any hope. Recall the time Neymar transfer to PSG, these group of Brazilian players especially Thiago Silva encouraged Neymar to leave Barca and join them in PSG. They don’t want their golden boy to live under Messi’s shadow, these Brazilians played a role the breakup of MSN trio. (Exactly what Barca board wanted). These kind of egotistical behavior didn’t help anyone in the end. Look at them and then, both Messi and Neymar are trophy less. What Barca board did instead, griezman signing, horribly horrible. As a fan it is hard to see Barca without a trophy, G.O.A.T wasted his last 4yrs, star player Neymar destroyed his own career just because of his friends’ egotistical jealousy suggestion.
We have xavi now as a manager, I’m not expecting any good or great this season. My only desire is Barca should not end up playing Europa league and need a complete transformation of team and staff of the club inside and outside. Eager to see tiki-taka. Visca el Barca.

A leader, a winner, and definitely missing his energy ever since he left. Messi was quite, Busquets as well. Pique can be a leader, but also seems distracted with off the field endeavors. So there has been a serious vacuum in on field leadership. Xavi and Alves will provide the kick in the balls that this team needs.

I'm Mexican & I watched Dani Alves play against us this past summer in the Olympics semi-finals. We had a strong team, and won the bronze. It was a close game, but Dani Alves was putting up a shift against us the whole 120 minutes. No 38 year old should be that good still. Im excited to have him back in the squad because I still saw the quality & the stamina. He also showed love to my country after the match, and was a sportsman. Mexican fans love Dani Alves, he's a machine & a leader.🙌🏽
