Thierry is one of the best pundits available as of now. His knowledge of the game, and the way he speaks to the point, precisely and so accurately is something to be admired.
Mindset. This is what youngsters in current times need. It is what you can bring to the the team.
Very few have the mentality of an Henry or old school type mindset. I get what Both are saying, the Ronaldo’s messi’s Mbappe’s are that level of talent and self belief that they will quietly think that, except they will work like dogs to back it up, which separates them from the regular diva type players who aren’t that level but act like it.
The rest like Henry who are/were also top tier as in top 5 percent level but maybe not top 1 percent, are the same level of work rate and winners attitude, but the ego part is not there. This is what separates the top from the top top. The best in the world almost have to have that certain level of extreme self belief, arrogance or ego. It could be argued that Messi might (might) be the one exception and I believe that’s really why he’s liked and praised more than CR7.
