grealish changed so much from the player he was at villa. never seen him put a very good performance at city consistently
When jacks on the pitch normally two players always close him down. Not only can he hold the ball and he’s got decent strength. And he’s played in all big games for city. Crazy decision 😮

Grealish is the gazza of our generation. You need to have a core group of experienced players that start the whole qualifying campaign leading into the tournament then maybe add 1 or 2 exceptional players not just pick a load of players that finished the prem strongly. Ridiculous

Anyway you spin it, Jack Grealish is an outstanding talent who plays in a way that will likely bamboozle opposing teams and give England an advantage even if for just a short period. A game changer sometimes. I also wonder what effect his absence will have on the rest of the team and the morale within the camp. Hooking up with Foden too as there is a pre-existing player relationship there. I don't have the information that Gareth Southgate has, clearly, and for the reasons I have stated I am disappointed he is not chosen. The omens are not good, and losing 1-0 to Iceland further cements the idea that perhaps Gareth's time as England manager, despite his excellent past record, are numbered. Ultimately it is not individual players that win games of football, it is individual players in the context of a team. I think this is an important distinction and most pundits seem to focus on individuals and not the whole.
Grealish should have gone, its that simple. He came on as sub in the friendly the other day and had a hand in two of England's goals. I am adamant Southgate has never been a fan of Grealish, who remembers when he came on as sub and then got subbed off again. Southgate is a fool and England have no chance in the Euro's.

Only thing about grealish is that he offers very different skills to any of our other forwards. Probably our best baller dribbler and never loosing possession. Also came on in last match and created two goals. He’s perfect for international football especially where teams are gonna sit back against us so pace doesn’t unlock that. But nothing I or anyone can do about it, just have to sit back and see what happens

I can't understand it. Why did he play Grealish in that first friendly when he was not going to take him. When Grealish came on he played well too. Grealish also takes opposite players out of the match leaving spaces elsewhere.
