  1. So if his plan is to become a billionaire, why not go to saudi Arabia and become one in a few years, while still investing?
Also: you should have noted that miami has low or zero income tax, sth he and shakira had a paid lesson over in spain.
Also: the only good investment is the baller league created by piquet, shakira ex and former messi teammate. In baller league messis presence can influence viewership (and therefore revenues) directly.
I think messi went for miami coz it’s low tax and more comfy (many latinos). Pure money wise saudis will always outpay.

  2. I am surprised he isn't a billionaire already with the insane money Barca paid him and all the crazy sponsorship deals he has had for ages.

  3. 3:18 Unfortunately, if the Nike deal didn't happen, there would be no huge revenue shares for athletes' image or name. In his time, his was the first. MJ's shoe deal with Nike was the catalyst of the player empowerment and leverage we see Today. So we can say he is "underpaid" in today's standards BUT without his deal, there would be no standard.

  4. Messi's inability to speak english can also be one of the reasons why some of his investments or marketing are not kicking off.

  5. Awesome video as always!! Tbh I don't think Messi is the driving force behind this. He doesn't seem to me like a greedy businessman that wants to take over the world. I feel more like he is surrounded by people which want to make money through Messi. An investment here, an investment there.. and big percentage for the guy that advised him to do that.

  6. Bro idk instead of releasing his energy drink he should probably sell that thing he goes drinking to matches you know maybe partner with Starbucks or make more of that container he was drinking from that might sell better than most of his products

  7. His inability to speak English (the most spoken language in the world) might be a factor in his failures outside of football
He's also introverted … the spanish speaking world might also fail to gravitate to him outside of football

  8. 45mil/year for the rest of his life is an insane deal. Man just made sure his whole bloodlines bloodline has a secured future

  9. the conclusion of the video of athletic interest is that the whole video is based on future of lionel messi whether he would make certain decisions to become a billionaire , NEVER SEEN A GUY WHO MAKES SPECULATION ON A PLAYER IF HE GETS RICHER OR NOT , MY MAN IS SO DELUSIONAL THAT HE PLACED MESSI ABOVE ELON MUSK IN RICH PEOPLE RANKS , I DONT THINK WHETHER HE UNDERSTANDS HOW BUSINESS WORKS . i came here to see messi's business model but saw future of messi , @Atheltic Interest is lacking so much content that he starts licking messi for views now thats CALLED A BUSINESS IDEA WORTH BILLIONS

  10. This video shows Messi as a businessman or someone who's looking for more and more money. But let's not forget, He is the man who declined 1.6billion p.a

  11. With Messi and the MLS Apple deal, soccer in the US is only getting started. There really are people that think MLS and the Saudi league are on a same level, just because both sign elderly star players. Check the recent video on the new stadiums in the US by Maapify

  12. I'm a huge Messi fan, but honestly, he is not representative like Ronaldo is. He knows like 5 words in English and he's introverted. Those two reasons alone are enough for him not to succeed off the pitch.
