What I will never understand is why players and agents can't see that their best interests lie in playing for a club that a) is known to them b) they have had success with and c) wants to sign them. We see it so often where they take a chance, go somewhere else and completely fall flat on their arse.
An English Championship club can be a realistic gateway to the Premier League, can you honestly say the same about for example the MLS?
Come on, Ike is far too young to want to play 'Soccerball' with the Nashville Non-Entities when he could be turning out for the mighty OWLS innit?
I can not see Wednesday getting any of there main targets in before season starts .I know am been doom and gloom but this is my gut feeling
I wouldn't worry yourself, I firmly believe Ike will be a Wednesday player by the time we kick off the season. I don't think there will be to many issues with this deal. He clearly enjoyed his time at the club, Mussaba is one of his best mates and having played in England for many years he looks like he enjoys the country. I don't see a problem as Troyes went down, I think that opened the door for a good piece of business to be done by Wednesday!
