Too many people forgetting that tripps came here because he wanted to come back to england and beleived in the project.

Reading a lot of these comments it is crazy how much people are affected by recency bias, bloke was being called the best RB in the world for about 2 years, he drops off for half a season and everyone is calling for blood.
Such a mistake to sell Tripps, give him a full season as our proper skipper. He was our first big name & deserves far more respect than SOME are giving him ! If they can keep Dummett and Ritchie this long then for sure Tripps deserves to stay !❤

I expect we are looking at 2 levels of signings, as the amount we can spend is now tied directly to what we can sell players for, i think the ability to spend a really high amount in the owners first 2 years was was due to fatsos lack of spending, we have now used that leeway up, we will have some to spend no doubt, but need to shift a few for proper money, i think target,dubs,longstaff,miggy and maybe trips are avzilable for the right price

if it is the case that 15mil will be worth a lot more to us in future transfers, you'd have to consider it.
As much as I and most of us LOVE trips , if you're judging him on the last 12 month it may be the best move for both parties.

If he didn't want to go I'd not be pushing him out the door he's earned the right to be in control he's a baller he's a captain he's the drive in the team since come threw the door , he'd run threw walls for us his team but he's possibly the only superstar we have replacement already but I do belive he'll stay
Trippier has been great but we have the ready replacement in Tino and Trippiers $15M would help amortizing its use over 4 years – would give us $60M to spend, plus he deserves one last big move – great content Roob and I will defo be buying the new away kit – loved the classic Ginola shirt !

Keep Trippier and give Tino a lot more game time. Likewise with Target and Hall. Use Burn as cover for Botman and Lascelles as cover for Schar. Sell Miggy and keep Murphy. Keep Wilson but bring in a durable striker.
NO! let tripp retire at newcastle. He was the first one to believe in the project even though we were facing relegation. He deserve better than selling him to bayern
