      Southgate. 4 wins in 27 attempts against FIFA top 10 teams. 14% Win Record or in other words, a 17 in 20 chance England will lose to anyone in the knockout stage. Useless manager. Enough said.

      I agree with Ally, I watched the 1966 final on TV. I have seen a lot of England games. England have usually struggled in tournaments. They have only reached the final of the Euros once, and that was under Southgate. England did not qualify for the 1974, 1978, and 1994 World Cups. Alex Ferguson said in his book that Stevie G and Lampard were overrated. England has never produced a Ronaldo, Platini, Messi, or Mbappe, which helps if you want to win big tournaments.

      The anti Southgate thing is so funny to me. Guy makes people 10x angrier than all these other bum ass managers England has had over the last twenty years because he has the nerve to actually accomplish what England is capable of.

      Not one of the teams Southgate’s England lost to in international competition wasn’t better than his team. Do people expect the manager to magically cause better players to exist?

      And even this year, he’s having to go try to win the Euros with a back four that couldn’t win the championship and people are going to pretend England should be a shoe in anyway. England fans deserve to have Steve Bruce replace Southgate
