  1. If we do not get him it wouldn’t be the end of the world. I heard we are after Bellingham (Jobe) . Wonder what everyone’s thought on this player ?

  2. I think you're only hearing one side, Daichi knows his own worth, Lazio barely played him last season but want to pay him less than we can offer for what may amount to another season mostly on the bench and on top of that a 20mil release clause should he want to get out of potentially a bad situation.
He's not been happy with his appearances so it's hard to be enthusiastic and "love Lazio" just because you're told to…

  3. While I agree that the agents may be lacking good faith in their dealings with the club, Lazio trying to enforce on Kamada a larger-than-desired release clause provides context that I think matters. Both sides are pointing fingers and both may be right. Would his team force Palace into a similarly compromising position? There is always that risk, but our club has become much more player-friendly in recent years. If Kamada wants a release clause I suspect we'd give him one — and then work on giving him reasons to stay.

Bottom line for me is that Palace has become uncommonly aggressive in the market. That is so, so refreshing. I love it.

  4. My main concern is keeping our star players (if we sell, sell someone for good money like Guehi). I think a bonus with Kamada is he's played and won with Glasner before 😀⚽🦅

  5. I have lived in Japan for 18 years. . He has a reputation of bring a bit of a selfish player.. Having said most Japanese are a bit naive but usually honest. I would imagine here that the problem here is his agent rather than the player. Once he works for Glasnier i think he will be quite loyal. The other good thing about Japanese players is that he is happy to be a squad player. Football is growing very fast here. Brighton will make a lot of money because of Mitoma when they tour here this summer. If he signs Palace have huge commercial opportunities in Japan.
