Haha here we go again, rating the winning coach a 7, and the losing coach an 8. No basis again for such rating. After the 1st half, Don Carlo changed his tactics and shape. That's why we won. Hala Madrid!
Dortmund's biggest tactical mistake in attack was relying on Sancho in the free role. Sancho did not exploit the space at all and offered close to nothing in attack- instead he recycled the ball constantly. Then taking Adeyemi off instead of Sancho killed it because it allowed Madrid to move up the pitch and gain more control because they weren't concerned with rapid counter attacks. It was naive of Terzic to take off his most dangerous player. Well done to Madrid once again showing their killer edge.
For clarity of Real Madrid's winning under Carlo Ancelotti, talk about relationism philosophy in football.
My Barca brothers, never give up. There is still Atalanta.
Don't pretend to be having a crew. When teams win, u come up with such nonsense and when they loose u come up with another nonsense
Why real madrid always win ❌
Why real Madrid is always lucky ✅
It's the worst first half I've seen Real Madrid played. I know my team so much, I was like, "Dormund, you better score while you can because we will in the 70th min." 😊
Madrid is a monster when they realize you are vulnerable – there is no team capable of killing out a game like them.
It wasn’t a masterclass, but Real Madrid deserved to win the Champions League because of how well they defended. Managers, like Carlo Ancelotti, that give freedom to the players in attack come off as withdrawn, but the difference comes in defense.
🗣️ Carlo Ancelotti: “The mistake that the new generation of coaches make is giving too much information to the players in the game with the ball.
This takes away creativity. It's one thing to indicate to the player the positioning without the ball, there you have to give a lot of information, because without the ball it's concentration, sacrifice and collective play.
But with the ball, it depends on the creativity of the player. If Vinicius or Rodrygo feel more comfortable opening up a little more on the wings when the team has the ball, I'm not going to tell them to stay inside; because it is an individual interpretation of the game.
I don’t do it, because I don’t want to take away everyone’s creativity.”
terzic copy pasta guardiola system lool
People believe you can have 10 players in high pressing and man to man all 90 minutes. Even the BVB manager didn’t take into account tte burden on his players after minute 55, team split and the press was no longer effective for his purposes anymore. It was a full dominance afterwards.
No one saw this coming
No one
Great analysis! What software and editing tools did use for this video? Thanks
Ancelotti often let the team play on their own in 1st half, review, and make the best changes in the second.
The thing is, Real should not be in the final. They robbed Leipzig (regular goal not given) and they also had a ton of luck with the huge mistake by the linesman against Bayern. Its not about crying, its the truth.
i think
they played 343
Good analysis. I missed a recognition that Madrid changed to a 4-3-3 in the second half and also changed Valverde and Camavinga roles, with Valverde being more defensive, letting Camavinga to play higher. This helped Madrid to counterpress more effectively and as result to recover the ball higher up in the pitch.
This was the actual tactic from ancelotti “🤨”
Madrid were just lucky, period. That luck carried them through beating the favorites Man city and now Borussia Dortmund. The perfect final really would've been Man city vs Borussia Dortmund to be sincere. But then it is what it is.
