Gio might not have the cardio, vo2 max, whatever your want to call it, for the modern game. Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, etc. run 90+ mins every game. Gio gets subbed after 60.
You guys overrate a lot of our players. We only have a handful of good players: Pulisic, Gio, McKennie, Weah, & maybe Pepi. Many of our guys are dual-nationals who were developed in Europe, and whom the U.S. recruited to play for us. You guys think these mediocre players can all go play for European clubs.
Way to go, Braden. McKennie should stay at Juventus. Playing at Juventus has definitely improved his technical ability.
