Lukaku. 7 goals in 13 games in Europa League. The dude nets goals that count. He's dominates the box. Something we really needed this year when teams sat in defensively. He's a guy we can play the ball into with 10 guys around him. He'll also want to play in Champions League. He's probably similar to Ollie in a lot of ways, but we don't really need a flashy striker. We need someone who is going to score when defenses make mistakes. Lukaku is that guy for me and he was great for Roma last year. They love him there.
For me, we need another finisher like Ollie. We don't need a silky, upper 90, one-on-one hero. Though Mbappe would be nice, it's not what we need. We have a discipled team that is striving to be clinical. That means finishing plays when we create opportunities… not through one player… but through a system. Ollie is so good at that, just like Harry Kane. Having two Ollie's isn't a bad thing.
OK here me out. I'm not joking with my suggestion but why not 1-2 seasons with Ben Brenton Diaz. Less than 8 million pounds and a quick direct forward to back up and compliment Ollie Watkins. Cheap players who has impressed me on loan at Sheffield United. Gotta be a punt?

Think we should let Duran go to Chelsea if they come in for him as you said he is not going to push Watkins out. We should have kept Cameron Archer imo. But I think we should look at Elijah Adebayo from Luton he gets a fair few injurys but has the ability to be a world beater, also should be looking at Petkar Ratkov from RB Salzburg potential and he is a unit different to Ollie Watkins also Wages are realistic for both Adebayo and Ratkov.
I'd welcome Morata for sure.. of course wages might be an issue.. Let Duran go if he's not willing to be patient and grow up a little bit, we don't want drama around the dressing room. I know he's not out and out striker, be great if we showed some real intent and went for Jarod Bowen or Mbeumo.. You say we need something a little different up top, do we think Solanke would fit?
Also with rumours like Barkley going about and the talk of needing experienced players who have been there and done it.. there is one man who has recently lost his way and I'd be really interested to know if Unai could get a tune out of him.. Raheem Sterling… Albeit I'm sure his wages would be a stumbling block. Just a thought
Our squad size can only be 17 + 7 home grown = 25 then plus U21’s – so any signings or sales need to consider this – this might be worth an episode Luke going through our current 17 and 7 and what the rules are
I've been saying for years, surely Tammy Abraham is the perfect signing with Premiership & European experience what more do you want, Morata is no where near that, Spanish league is no where near the pace or technique of the premier League.

Morata would be a solid one, if he is ready to play second fiddle and warm the bench a bit sometimes. He has all the experience in spades, he´s almost tall, he´s almost strong and he reads the game and places, and he is over 30 so not needing to prove anything. . I think he could be a good signing. if Jhon Durán is wanting more mins to show his skills off, (which he kinda should), then lets try. Unai is the Lion King
