Saliba’s wildly overrated. His individual stats speak for themselves. Like Ederson looks like a good keeper because he has the team he has in front of him. Put him in a team other than city and you’ll see why he is so bad (was shown for the matches under Diniz for Brazil). That’s why Deschamps doesn’t pick Saliba to start for France because he is exposed. Arsenal plays in a way that doesn’t expose Saliba’s flaws. He has potential to grow but he is not the best in the league, by far. There are at least 7 better than him, including his own teammate.
The best CB in the country is wesley fofana.

Not sure about best in the league, not quite for me. He certainly will be soon, almost no doubt. If there was a CL final tomorrow I’d be picking Stones, VVD and/or Dias ahead of him just for their big game experience. This season though I’d admit Saliba has probably been the most consistent and available, fair enough.
