Gregg Berhalter has dropped a 27-man USMNT Roster for the Copa America, which will have to be trimmed to 26 by June 12. All the obvious picks are there, including Gio Reyna, Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Chris Richards, but there are also some bizarre MLS picks.

While we all expected GGG to be stupid….I still can't understand his stupidity. Hopefully USSF will have GGG on a short leash, and if he F's up as much as I think he will, that they'll fire him and get a decent coach before it's too late.
Johnson is a joke of a selection, there are probably 4-5 guys who'd be of greater value.
Moore is a complete waste of space and provides nothing of value. A traffic cone is a better option.
Miles/McKenzie are kind of obvious "Gregg's Guys"….but I still believe Trusty would have been a better option than either.
Tim Tillman I don't mind too much, but if it had been my choice I'd have gone with Maloney considering Adams injury concerns.
I've no issues with the wide attackers or the CFs for this tournament…..and I hope that none of those 7 are sent home. After the Olympics I could easily see Aaronson replaced if he doesn't straighten out his club play.

I generally like your channel Pete but your bashing of any and all MLS players has become very tedious. No doubt MLS is below the top Euro leagues but some of our Euro players are sitting and that can't help their form. It would be more honest to base your critiques on how guys are playing and not JUST the fact that they are in MLS
I know it might be fully for Copa but the roster was dropped specifically for the Brazil and Colombia friendlies. I remember something similar happened in 2021 for the nations League where we had a slightly different roster against Switzerland with the nations League just a few days after. Just saying things could change.

Beat the teams youâre supposed to beat. Donât look ugly or embarrassing doing it. Then beat a big dog in the knock out, or at least, lose gracefully and tactically sound. I just want to see the player selection, formation, and tactics all work together. Greg always fu$&s up at least one of them.
The arguments saying Miles looked better than Trusty is so idiotic. Of course Miles looks better because he plays in a weaker league against weaker competition. MLS and Premier League aren't comparable.
