I saw somewhere else that the line about ‘the side that the team went on’ is basically translated as she wasn’t happy with the direction that the team is going in. I did think something like this would eventually come out about the behind the scenes stuff, whether it be from Viv herself or elsewhere. Wonder who the source is.
Really not a good look for Jonas, I have to be honest, especially if you consider this along with other stuff that’s been said about him/happened that people have been unhappy about.

Yeah, this doesn’t paint jonas in a good light. I get everyone has their own threshold for enduring that sort of behaviour, but if he was so horrific, would so many of Arsenal’s players renewed their contracts under him?
I also don’t get the comment about the direction the team is going in. Playing style-wise or what?
I’ve only read what’s in the picture, but is this supposed to make viv’s departure seem like a mutual decision or is this just a btw the club didn’t renew her, but she was already unhappy so whatever?

Now I have a question for everyone else: recently I saw a tweet specifically mention that we shouldn’t underestimate the fact that Viv is Dutch and therefore cannot be stopped from publicly questioning or criticising Fifa or Uefa. How does this work and why is she allowed to, and not players from other countries?
