Fulham have agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon for midfielder Joao Palhinha, the deal is believed to be in the region of £20m. Personal terms have been agreed and the player is currently under going a medical at the club. A formal announcement is expected soon.

Very strange transfer, Palhinha would rather be at a club which has a good chance of relegation this season instead of playing in europe? But, I’m not criticizing this transfer, Fulham doesn’t have great options in midfield right after Carvalho joined Liverpool and with Palhinha, Fulham may concede a lot less than they did long ago.

A player like him with CL in hand goes to a team that just recently got promoted and have a high chance to get relegated next year, wont compete for any trophies. We have a great a coach, we have a great striker mitrovic who is will receive service from manor Solomon who looks crazy good, Harry Wilson , now palihna a top midfield who made for winning back the ball. Just a few more signings and were flying. New cb new lb one more midfielder and we’re good. Also rodrgio muniz is going to be a star . No one knows it yet

Hes good at recovering the ball tries to win every single duel good defensively good at switching the ball for side to side hes physical & a warrior he was seen as a leader & captain at Sporting CP & is respected & loved by everyone including by rival clubs for his world ethic & style hes impossible not to like wish him the best & hopefully he can show his worth & ends up playing for a even bigger club in the near future.
