Lots of talent to pick from in midfield and forward positions. It's the defence and goalkeeper position that worries me if the aim is to win the tournament.
I hear the complaints about the likes of Maguire being in the squad but what quality centre backs do we have when the likes of Ben White make themselves unavailable.
I think Chilwell is a little unlucky. Sure he's not had great season but you could argue he's not tired and he has more experience at a high level.
Surely it would have made sense to blood some of these youngsters he's picked now in earlier friendlies?

Rashford deserves nothing less….I would also release Grealish and play Bowen over Saka….. Bowen is a goal threat… he crosses the ball for the forward…. tracks back and works hard and is adept in playing a West Ham systen which is not unlike the way England's play is… always with a deep back line… Bowen works his socks off to bridge the large gap left between backline and forwards… Im not a WHU….but he has been exceptional in what has been at times a slightly poor performing team… so he has the mentality to perform even when the team isn't.

Surprised with needing left back cover that he hasn't given Chilwell the same time as Shaw when he was back in training and on the bench for Chelsea the last few games of the season. I know he he didn't have the best game in the friendlies but we need left back support. Surely every team and opposition manager will look to exploit the weakest part of our defence.
