  1. He's gonna flop hard. He's just another Lacazette. Never scored more than 14 goals for the champions of England despite how many chances they create. He's erratic as all hell

  2. I stand to be corrected in this. After watching Jesus for more than four years all i can say is he is an avarage player. He might have better stats than many other CF in the premier league but he isnt a natural born finisher, he has immensly struggled to get in the starting XI last season when city had no other CF which just highlights how much he at times underperfomes.Anyway wish him all the best in Arsenal….but to all Arsenal fans dont expect Jesus to score 20+ goals in one season.

  3. Good signing
But I do think we need to sign another striker
Maybe a physical 6 foot 20-25 year old-ish 10 to 15 mil pure poacher..somebody to get ugly goals when beautiful passing and running between the line doesnt work. Somebody to break that low block by scoring from a corner or a cross, the guy who stick the head or foot at the right moment so we could win ugly

  4. It is a marquee signing for Arteta. The only issue is how will Arteta utilise him to his strength as well as unlock hidden potentials.

  5. Selling Pepe 30 million then and playing Jesus on right side. Also on left or striker. Maybe sell R.Nelson for 15 million. And still Arsenal needs a proper striker like A.Isaak or A.Silva etc …

    Neves and Sangare for midfield.
    Kehrer for RB competition
Maybe another CB like Evan Ndicka.

That should be a good transfer Window. A team strong enough for top 4 and cup throphy.

  6. He's excellent number 9 but why in the world, Clubs are not going for Lautaro Martรญnez is beyond me ๐Ÿ˜’
I would love to see his stats and gameplay in Inter, he's beast when it comes to pressing and dropping deep to make spaces for forwards โค๏ธ

  7. I love how he mentions that Arsenal's Strikers didn't hit double digits and conveniently left out that so did JESUS. I can already see Arsenal fans screaming Willian part 2. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  8. The key part of Jesus is his pressing ability. Pep even praises Jesus as City's best presser upfront. A view at Arteta's tactics at Arsenal puts a lot of need for pressing in the final third. Jesus pressing the center backs means more distribution to the fullback, which open them up to pressing by Saka or Martinelli on the wings. With less space (thanks to sidelines) to get around the Arsenal wingers, this puts pressure on fullback to either pass long (which makes it easier for defense to win back possession) or pass back in field, which allows Odegaard or Jesus or Vieira to steal the ball, keep hold of it and create chances.

It's all predicated on press and move and Jesus will slot in well since it's already what he does for City.

  9. Another insightful vid from our FMS guru, with a good description of Jesus' flexibility and his issues with finishing. He has reached double digit goals in two of his 5 more or less full time seasons with City. Could he do that with Arsenal? I think the probability is low because the cast around him is of course not as good, which, as our FMS guru noted, flatters his statistics. Arsenal fans should manage their expectations here — Jesus is a better than average premier league player and will add value to the side. Anticipate he will score 7 or 8 goals in 30 ish appearances–such are reasonable expectations.

  10. PSG, Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Juventus has at least 2-3 quality goal scoring players but Arsenal kept it traditional with just at single target striker to rely on

  11. Arteta's tactics dictate that he does not require a pure number 9. He needed someone who can drop deep and link up with the wingers. A false 9. So I guess Jesus is a perfect Arteta signing.
Now, Arteta can not have any excuses for his team not performing this season. If they fail to make champions league, Arteta should be sacked.

  12. Gabriel Jesus can offer a lot more for Arsenal even though his goal scoring record and consistency is questionable at best. Still need a far clinical striker and Gabriel Jesus ain't it.

  13. I think the hope is, with stable system, being the starter, getting regular chances, he will get into the groove as opposed to pep in and out, changing systems and playing time

  14. I would love to see some player comparisons when mentioning these stats. Its great that Jesus is in 87th% for dribbling but who does he come close to? Is he synonymous with Salah or closer to DCL?

  15. Great video, great information…can we get ranks instead of percentiles please? Percentiles require more math…lol… and they're really not that descriptive, especially in terms of sporting stats, in which percentiles are never used. My mind can't comprehend what a forward in the 88th percentile truly means. The highest and lowest numbers, as well as examples of other forwards in the same scoring range would help to make your information more understandable. (No hate! Just trying to help by offering audience feedback! Good job!)

  16. A good signing for Arsenal.Gabriel Jesus is a very competitive athlete with good work ethics.Technically,he is agile flexible skilful and apparently he is certain to be a catalyst for change who has the capacity to influence young players by virtue of his objective mind set. That is Gabriel Jesus's asset. He has a proven record and he would like to prove that pedigree at this massive Football Club.Cheers….
