For Croatia anything between round of 16 to another semi-final is possible. It will depend on whether they can sort out their attack. Otherwise the only way they make it deep is by pushing it all the time to pens.
Gvardiol would be interesting to see LB but the best back 4 for Croatia would be

Perisic played a few games at LB and was solid, he can also contribute to attack as well. This will allow space on LW to try Pjaca who hopefully can find his form or Ivanusec who has played well there.

I think our attack is massively underrated because most of our players play in Croatian Clubs: Petković (Dinamo Zagreb), Perišić (Hajduk Split), Pjaca and Marco Pašalić (Rijeka). Although we have excellent goal machines like Kramarić and Budimir.

Croatia looks pretty hot in attack though this year. Budimir being almost top scorer in La Liga until injury, Karmarić casually saving Hoffenheim every game, Perišić just scored the best goal of his life and he has proven his shape, Mario Pašalić is often scoring the whole season, Petković is on fire of course… Maybe we can lift the trophy this time.

There is a euphoric feeling in Croatia for this tournament because they have a great team and confidence. They have won a medal in every tournament except this one and the team has had it in their heads for a few years now to finally fight for a medal at this tournament. They know how to play these big games and to fight, hopefully they can do it.
