I'd try 1 million with a rise of 1 million in a year. Depending on nothing. Just that. There is no guarantee we will get play offs to have that as a leverage. Or they wouldn't want a condition on us staying up etc. They will want nailed on cash. If we have any ambition then we must try. They paid 3mil euro when his value was 5mil.. His value is 2.8mil so offer 1.5mill.. Not like he's a 20 goals a season at best see him 10-12 as past few seasons show, so don't be silly as we don't want to throw money around.

Depends on how you define cheap. The player they loaned to Lyons is playing at the top level of French football whereas Ugbo is only at the second level of English football so I don't think the pricing is comparable. I can see Troyes wanting to recoup their money, but reckon 2 million (plus add ons) might be enough. Let's wait and see.

From what I can find he is their joint 3rd highest earner and makes just under £16k a week and has 2 years left on his deal. He was bought for around £2.6mil, if Troyes are relegated which is very possible then they may cut there losses and sell for the roughly the same value with a sell on % and maybe an appearence bonus on top. I don't think it'll be much more than we were willing to pay for McGuire in January, and he's proven himself as well. If he wants to move, the amount of power players have these days I can see him moving. I don't think it's too difficult a deal to get done if Ike wants to come back! I think you get the deall done for £3mil I doubt it'll be much more (if they go down)!
Regarding the FFP Anthony…We will no doubt get in loans but i think DC will put his hands in his pockets this summer reasons been DC will want to get the fans back on side secondly DC will back Danny… And Danny willl box well with what he has to work with and stay in the good books regarding the FFP..It will be a good summer and Danny and his staff will have the team that they want for sure 👍🏻

There's a deal to be done there. Ugbo seemed to enjoy his time here, he played under a great manager snd his team are dropping a league. £1.5mil and some add-ons will do it.
He’s a player that can’t settle at a club, he needs a home, he’s had too many loan spells, 7goals in 18 games isn’t bad . He could potentially do better given a full season at Hillsborough, however we do not need to break the bank for potentially being a flop.
