Gio Reyna closes out the 2023/2024 club season with a failed loan stint at Forest. Sources close to Nuno mentioned that he values EPL experience over Gio which explains the lack of playing time. If that were the case, why even bother with the loan.
In comparison, Dortmund has found success after Gio’s departure, though I wouldn’t say it was because of his departure. They are ending the season at 5th place which wouldn’t normally be a success, but with the new rules of Champions League, Bundesliga now has 5 spots available. On top of that, Dortmund will be playing in the Champions League Finals.

Another 3+ hour show… Y'all are killing me
Speaking of butts, I think Gio should should just stick his tail in his butt and go down a level, maybe an Ajax or something like that, ball out for the eredivisie just like many young Americans are doing
Soccer is so frustrating when guys like Reyna through all the nonsense, cant find regular playing time. It must be so weird to be on these clubs where you are barely a back up infielder. If I was a good soccer player I would want to actually play soccer. I know many dont like to hear it but if he has to go to a smaller club or league to play I have to think thats better than him sitting every week and watching the game.
I honestly think the Sportsology Psyche test could have some usefulness if it was Pass/Fail. Fail if you meekly acquiesce to taking it it. Pass if you have the stones to refuse to participate in that condescending bs.
Btw… Derek, I just want to commend you for being so incredibly brave on the mic.
