First comment I ever made on YouTube, thought you deserved it, Charles. 🙂 It's a bit of a long read, if you can bear with me.
I have been a supporter since 2008, when i was still in my teens (learned the great history of our club only years later, though). I fell in love with the style of football we played, favourite player was Tomas Rosicky. Had a wedding with my beautiful wife in the spring of 2014, the same day we won the first trophy I ever experienced. I was elated, rewinded the Ramsey goal over and over (as we all propably did).
In that time, this is the first season I have genuinely thought we have a real chance at the league. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions and I've enjoyed it so much. For that, I am ever grateful to the players, Arteta and everyone around them. My head is saying the last round is uneventful and we may just miss it, but my heart is still believing: in my head it is a late "Aguero-2012-style" goal from Havertz, as West Ham hold City. 🙂 It might not happen, but nevertheless, I have had a chance to believe. And if it is not this year, I do believe there will be a year I can share that moment with my sons in red and white.

Top class talent to add to the squad, you keep his value as he develops, and he's only gonna get better.
I got a feeling West Ham can do it for us, that game would be a Super Cup match between the CL winner vs the ECL winner. David Moyes is a good manager and he had Sir Alex endorsing him for Man Utd job. If Moyes manages to prevent City from winning the league again, it would be the perfect portfolio for his next managerial job wherever it is. City wasn't exactly like last year so anything can happen, only problem is I don't know if Moyes and the WHU boys are still bitter about Declan leaving them, that could be a dealbreaker. But I hope they're professional about it.
This all about corruption,they have the powers to make them open the books but they are not doing anything,they went for the small fish and punished them but buying time on man city,chelsea and possible new castle because of their liquidity…FA and their cronies are corrupt to the tooth
Manchester City deserves to celebrate their victory over Tottenham. We squandered another chance against Aston Villa. We must ask ourselves, "Why does Arsenal always get it wrong when we are so close to glory????" So do not blame the city for celebrating.
City are guilty. Full stop. You wouldn't drag it out, delay proceedings, and not show your books if you were innocent. I'm personally sick of City now.

As for incoming players, Isak and Gyokeres aren't playing, Sesko is in England's group, Zubimendi and Zirkzee seem to be ruled out through injury but would otherwise be on duty. Guimares is with 2/3 of our Gabriels at Copa.

I wonder if we are giving Spurs the credit they are due? They have an empty trophy cabinet, but now they can make a badge "we stopped The Arsenal winning the league ".
And that wee badge can sit in the centre of the empty cabinet! 🙂
We all need to keep pushing back at Man City, for the 115 charges is corrupt and we all need to keep calling it out until we see justice. Sheikh Mansour has ruined english football.
We still had a good season considering everything. Other teams might be insecure about what happens next season- but we don’t have to be, the core of this team will still be here for years and they are excellent.
That being said, if you want to resolve the Man City dominance- you have to be just as ruthless. On and off the pitch. City sell players for good money- we don’t do that yet and then also never in a million years does City lose against Villa at home in the final 10 matches of the season.
Anyway, keep your heads up Gooners. The players, Edu, Mikel- we’ve seen the growth, if this season is something to build on, then next season is something to be very excited about.

Isak is a year younger than Gyokeres? I had no idea! That changes my perspectives on the two.
Argument for a semi prospect/younger striker like Sesko, now that Kai has broken through and we have Chido Martin Obi in the wings? I love his size too, now that we are corner masters.
Finally, let's offer a pay to play for Faiq Bolkiah, 26y winger in the Thai league, and member of the Brunei royal family. He's the nephew of the Sultan and his estimated net worth is $20bn. His pay to play can cover Isak's fees!
I can’t help but think that we are missing a trick with ESR, he’s not so dissimilar to Simons. I feel we will regret letting ESR go if, as we expect, we do so this summer

About the VAR vote – I don't think they will vote to get rid of it and I doubt Wolves really intended for that to happen anyway. I think the aim is to make the league react and fix the many issues VAR has.
The problem isn't VAR itself, it's the rubbish way it's being used. Other sports have proven that it can be extremely successful (not perfect, there will always be aspects which come down to individual opinions) and hoping the officials will fix it themselves obviously hasn't worked

Charles do you have any thoughts on Team News & Tix's latest tweet that VAR did not check De Bruyne's goal vs Spurs? If this is true (TMNT never misses with his leaks), at what point do we acknowledge that this league has absolutely zero integrity? It's really difficult to get excited and interested in the Premier League these days when the club with 115 charges for cheating is winning its 6th title in 7 years, on top of them seemingly benefitting from basically every single refereeing decision possible.

So if Man City are found guilty after this season has finished, will the title be awarded to arsenal retrospectively and whoever finishes fifth promoted to the fourth CL spot? The longer this drags on the messier it keeps getting…
Brilliant season, finishing second to CITY is no disgrace ….BUT Arteta has had 3years and has won nothing…The FA Cup he won wasnt his team and he sold them to build HIS team, so next year we need to win something League Cup, FA Cup, Champions League and not put everything on trying to win the League

I share your pessimism re; Sunday Charles. But you made a good point about Declan's mates in their dressing room. And everyone just writing them off must stir up a bit of professional pride, surely? Incidentally, dunno why they're getting rid of Moyes. He delivered their first silverware for 43 years last year. Have they forgotten that?!! But I'll finish by saying how hilarious it is that the limit of so many Spurs fans ambitions is that Arsenal fail AS WELL. Absolutely pathetic. And I still haven't stopped laughing at witnessing their joy at losing a match. I don't gloat about football. Because I'm an adult. But (quite a long) while back when Tottenham beat us for the first time in 13 years I was bombarded by text messages from my (quite numerous) Tottenham supporting mates. In the previous 13 years I had never sent a single one of them a gloating text. Finally, though, I felt that I needed to retaliate so I replied to one saying 'fuck sake Dom, is this gonna happen EVERY 13 years?!!' 😆

It a disgrace in English football of what manc did that shame of what FA is doing. I understand that it guilty until proven. Imagine ur prime minster have 100 bribe charges do you still let him run the office no you suspend him. What FA should do now if manc win title they shouldn’t declare as champion until all charges are clear same goes to all money prizes. They should be suspended for next season until all charges been clear. Otherwise they just drag the case for another 10 years. If u don’t allow them play a single game as long as charges pending they will quickly resolved all charges
