Refreshing to see Carragher choose Pickford. He’s been the best goalie in the division this year and has been immense for Everton for the last three seasons
Odegaard in team of the season and also as player of the year is maddening. If you want an Arsenal player then surely it’s Rice or Saliba. He’s been good but no where close to the level where people are just throwing him in.
Odegaard has less goal contributions than he did last year, he has the less assist than KDB despite KDB only playing 16 games, you could argue he’s been 4 or 5 best Arsenal player this season, never mind player of the year. I mean Rodri has the same goal contributions as he does despite being a CDM, and he’s unbeaten all season.
Foden has been great but player of the year is between Rodri and Watkins. Rodri has been consistently world class and legit unbeatable all season and last season too. Watkins has seriously outperformed all other forwards in terms of assists and removing penalties he’s probably be level with Haaland on goals in a non-title chasing team. But yeh sure….Odegaard….he’s been fine.
