We took the lead on 20 minutes when Kai Havertz slipped in behind the hosts’ defence and picked out Leandro Trossard to score his 17th goal of the season, which proved pivotal in a game of few chances.

Andre Onana made a couple of good saves to deny Gabriel Martinelli and Declan Rice towards the end, while we restricted the Red Devils to just two shots on target thanks to a solid defensive display, which took us back to the top of the league with one game remaining as the title race heads into the final week.
