      Some things our fans should ubderstand.
      1. Cancelo is our starting LB.
      He will play only RB when walker is injured or given rest.
      Pep and city know what they are doing.
      If we buy a LB that means Esbrand will be our 3rd choice LB maybe 4th after Ake.
      So we dont need to be worried about LB that much.
      Just wait and trust Pep and city.
      When they want something badly they can splash the cash.
      They didnt pay 50 mil for Cucurella for a reason.
      They arent stupid.

      I'm exhausted from this situation. We've sold Zinchenko, so instead of sorting out this position quickly, we are lost right now. I don't know what we are doing, to be honest. We need to sign a left-back. It's not a wish, it's an obligatory, mandatory move.

      Cucurella just signed for Chelsea for £52.5 million. 🤬We never get out first choice replacements, it’s frustrating af. 🤦‍♂️ We will never win CL if don’t improve the quality of our signings. Sosa, as good as he is with his dribbling and crosses, has defensive deficiencies and he doesn’t have enough speed for defensive recovery runs, plus his injury record doesn’t instill too much confidence in signing him. We will essentially be signing another Mendy who couldn’t catch up to any decent winger for the life of his. Plus we already have Cancelo who is incompetent defensively. I was really hoping City would recognize this problem and would improve in that position with our next signing, but apparently not. Selling Zinchenko without a proper replacement was especially stupid imo. Btw we had no problem spending £100 million on Grealish who hasn’t proved himself to be worth even half of that, but Cucurella (who has one of highest chance-creating rates in the league)for £50 mil was too expensive??? Really?? And especially if you consider we just sold Zinchenko for 35 million (for whom we only paid £1.5 million) we would’ve been essentially paying less than 20 million for Cucurella. We obviously don’t have the scouting network good enough to get us a young wonder kid player like Bayern did with Alphonso Davies (our South American scouts seem to be only looking at attacking players for us) and on the other hand we also don’t want to spend the money to get the right quality players we need. At times the way we do business leaves me dumbfounded🤬

      So… like Zinchenko? lol Where is this overrating of Zinny's defensive abilities? Zinny was a grafter, hard worker, and fantastic in possession and going forward, but he cost us in quite a few games defensively. So at worst? We are in the same situation of the last couple yrs… Where we won the league .

      Just bring a competent guy in. A good technical guy who can play in Pep's system. As Pep has said before, " we dont train in tackles" Thats not our game. Just get Sosa, or whoever else that can play good technical football and be competent in defense.

      Let's be honest, walker is our best fullback when it comes to defending and it's mostly cause of his recovery runs, but he's not the best defender either. Zinchenko and cancelo are crap defenders, trent at liverpool is a shocking defender but he's so good going forward it doesn't really matter. We just need balance in the squad and a player who can cross the ball accurately.

      I don't think we've been linked with him at all but would Ben chilwell not be a good option seem as though Chelsea stole cucerella I know he been injured but still top class player

      I honestly couldn’t give a damn if the guy can’t defend or not. We’ve all seen Cancelo in 1v1s. I’m so used to that. All I care about how is that he’s a natural overlapping fullback than can acc cross the ball. Plus even if he doesn’t do well. It doesn’t matter. HE’S CROATIAN! We need that luck for UCL.
      Not to mention the benefits he’ll bring.
      1. Grealish can be fully unleashed.
      2. Our attacking patterns won’t be so predictable.
      3. Pep is definitely changing the way we play. And this is the last jigsaw

      Looks good going forward – perfect crosser for Haaland …. big at 6'2 and surely could be coached on the defensive side and at least has a chance to win defensive headers unlike the 5.7 alternatives we're linked with. One year on his contract …. I think …. would be my choice on the limited info I have … and I assume all the linked players have been scouted.
