Maybe we need to start getting players who can excel in spite of the system. Why does Martinelli need the excuse of LB support to take on his man, score from outside the box, pick up his head and pass the ball, stop shooting into the defender, shoot on target?
It feels like he's fell off but like you said maybe he needs help Like Ben white helps Saka overlapping him.
We need another LB similar to Ben white
Its that left hand side brudda remember him and rice is fresh and we dont have a realistic LB just wait till Timber and Rice kick in. Will be a diffrent story he just needs more support. Last season was Zinny and Xhaka now we dont know who the LB is. So when we have a concrete LB and a Concrete #8 he will cook because the chemistry will be there thats all ❤
