He never seemed like a Klopp system player in my opinion, maybe slot can utilize him better

He has looked really good all season. What a player, I think the most promising young talent we have and already a great player. He was actually a starter for us in 2021/22 when the season started, which was surprising but he actually played really really well. Then got that long-term injury against Leeds very early in the season…after recovering, he has been mostly on the bench but his development is pretty evident and imho deserves way more minutes.
I think if he continues like that…Szobo and/or Jones are gonna have a tough time to fight back that starting spot! Very healthy competition in our squad, though and that’s great.
