  1. Funny how Jurgens announcement never made one bit of difference for so long but as soon as they have a blip it's "Oh it's Jurgens fault" honestly you wonder how Sky stay in business.

  2. He is worst soccer pundit full of rubbish he doesn’t have the capacity to conduct assessment of overall performance of any football status 😅

  3. Short answer is yes! Even Fergie himself got it wrong himself. Liverpool usually are good in dealing these matters but man they got it wrong big time this time!

  4. Critically understanding Klopp's decision, there are pros and cons to his decision. For example IMO Liverpool would've never managed to dig the results they did during that winning period after Klopp's farewell announcement, however due to a 3 major losses like the Atlanta, United and Palace, essentially eliminating Liverpool from 2 and potentially 3 title hopes. This has become so sour not only due to Liverpools current season potential but mostly due to this being Klopp's last season. Moreover Pundits like Gary and Jamie etc are right in some ways, but heavily contradictory and essentially bias or motivated by an agenda to benefit themselves or the league.

  5. Liverpool have always been a club that when they're riding high they're unplayable. Until they get a bad result, then they capitulate.

5 home losses in a row?

Klopp announcing early didn't help. But it's more to do with the constant pressure that if they slip up just once then they hand the title to city.

  6. I believe klopp should have waited to tell the Liverpool board at the end of the season. The only person who needed to know was his wife.
Maybe something happened in a meeting which forced his hand

  7. I like listening to Neville untill he goes * I remember when* and goes back to something that happend in Manchester United 20 years ago. I'm a man u fan but just can't be arsed for all these throw backs Dailey 🤣

  8. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. I don't think they would have won the league either way. No point in overanalyzing it. City and Arsenal are the better teams.

  9. This is consequentialism. Think, if Kloop announced and Liverpool win the league because the players have more motivation. I don't think this is the reason Liverpool felt behind in the title race.

  10. Thats not an excuse come on! The attackers let us down missing clear cut chances and thats why we are out of the race. You imagine if we beat Palace, Westham and United away that puts us very well on top. Its just life we have to move on
But it has been disappointing these last few weeks

  11. I think keeping them in the title race as long as they were is somewhat of achievement giving the changing of midfield and last seasons disappointment. That's why I find his decision to leave a bit perplexing as it looked like he was building to something. The europa league is the disappointment as they could've won that but its been a bit of damp squib for a lot of English teams in Europe this season

  12. I think he wouldve spent a lot of time weighing it up… Ultimately it gives the club more time to decide who they want (in a very threadbare market atm). As soon as he said something internally it would have been leaked too. I think he's made the right decision all things considered

  13. Chaverpool will struggle to get into top half next season without moaning Kloppy… and with this new unheard of slap head… and if Salah goes then you’re really going to struggle to stay in top 15

  14. I don’t think it has anything to do with his decision. When Ferguson announced he will retire at the end of the season, it was during an era where leaks were not as prominent.

Jurgen Klopp had to tell the owners and players at the time he did so they could think about their futures at the club and so the owners could look for a new manager. As soon as he does that or the owners speak to managers agents, it gets leaked and the situation would have been out of his hands.

Liverpool’s performances are down to poor finishing uptop, too open at the back like we have been all season and an injury list that caught up to them.

  15. Everything…. Every little thing…"when I was at Manchester United…" Lol can Gary contribute anything aside from old United stories?? Boring already.

  16. Its not like Liverpool have played badly (Apart from Atalanta) They had more than enough chances in every game they dropped points to have won those easily, the only drop off has been the finishing, which you could never see coming!

  17. Earlier in the season pundits were saying that Liverpool fighting back from being behind in games was because of the extra fight that the players had due to Klopp announcing he is leaving, now that results have gone the other way, pundits are doing a U-turn on what they said and are now saying its because Klopp announced he is leaving. Its just the usual pundit U-turns

  18. Klopp only announced it early because journalists got hold of the story and were about to release it. He wanted to tell the players himself instead of finding out from the media
