      You don’t expect him to be quiet for so long when it seems like everything he does the media and plastic fans will speak ill of him . Now this is not scrutiny , this is abuse . Call it what it is !!

      Rashford is not a United fan nor he is a player. He do8es care about the club or its legacy. If he cared, he'd look up to Club Legend Beckham and follow his footsteps in dealing with criticism.

      Beckham didn't cry about it when the entire English fans abused him because of the red card against Argentina. To call what Rashford is facing an abuse is like calling a puddle of water an ocean.

      Please get out of this precious club you're helping ruin.

      Abuse! Abuse! Really! There’s a marked difference in abuse and criticism Marcus! No other player in the premier league is questioned like you are for your lack of application, dedication, passion, spirit and effort! Why!? Is everyone wrong from journalists, pundits, ex players!
      YOU are the issue lad! You wouldn’t be getting anywhere near the starting line up if it was down to me! But our incompetent manager is to blame for your continued lethargy!

      Im more worried for ten hag because he actually thinks rashford will come good but obviously hadn't watched utd before he became manager. Even last year in the matches he did score in he was most of the time dreadful. I would find myself screaming at the tv for him to be taken off many times for him to score a goal shortly after. But that was just papering over the cracks as regard to his all round form. He has no consistency apart from doing rubbish every week with virtually no effort shown. Hes been that for most of his career! Ten hag will lose his job if he hangs his hat on rashford!

      We need to sell Marcus. I like to see garnacho on the left wing next season and for us to sign a right winger called Viktor Tsygankov from girona he’s left footed, 25 years old, had a very good season, plays for Ukraine capped 51 times and also can play the number 10 role too. Would cost around £35M to £45M

      Tired of hearing about off the pitch with Rashford. If you want a community relations officer cool but if you want a 350k per week footballer, hold them accountable for poor footballing

      He reminds me of Sturridge at Liverpool when Klopp arrived. Sturridge can be hot for one season and then cold another. And he acts like he's the best in the world. Ultimately Klopp only achieved real success after he moved Sturridge. We have to get rid of Rashford and get in someone who's reliable.

      People have bad games and have bad form, that’s normal and ok. What’s not acceptable is his terrible effort and poor attitude in games. He has all the ability but this season does not look like he has put in the work. He doesn’t press and when he does it’s ineffective, he doesn’t track back. He doesn’t offer enough on or off the ball this year. I’m sure a lot of the criticism would stop if he looked like he was trying 110% game in game out, instead of the 50% he looks like he is.

      If these players think this is abuse they need to take a look at what the likes of beckham, pearce and aouthgate faced, particularly Beckham. More recently pogba and martial.
      You cant pick and choose which aspects of the premier league footballer life you want, its a complete package. With the hype and wages come the scrutiny and expectation.
      The lack of desire, comittment amd effort he's putting in is quite frankly disrespectful to the fans who pay his wages. For me there is no coming back from here, for everyones sake it'd be better if he left, i also think it would be a good message to send to the rest of the squad and help build a more positive player / manager relationship.
      Lets face it, the team are carrying him like a dead weight too.

      Yes Sam!! Totally agree! This tweet might just be Rashford's exit strategy from Man Utd! And I'd be happy for him to go and do something somewhere else. Us, as a team, do not have a space for a superstar right now. We can't be carrying anyone!

      Beckham had abuse and death threats after the 98 World Cup and he responded by winning us the treble the following year. Maguire was meme material, booed at, mocked and had bomb threats and he stepped up this season. So there's no excuse for Rashford. Yes he hasn't been good enough but he still plays the victim instead of playing with pride. He will never be elite with a weak mentality and will never be half the player Mbappe is now. Matter of fact, Rashford is on par with Theo Walcott and Aaron Lennon.

      I know that this squad (with one or two who have to be sold and bought) can win trophies but we have to realize that Man City are just another team, OK they are probably among the top three best squads in the world. But we have to play the occasion and not the team.
